It's the equivalent of 3,500 hardcover versions or 5,000 softcover not 8,500. Other than that, your point stands. There's only 2,472 delegates so what were the extra 1,000+ copies for?

A businessman overbuys for an event while breaking the law in order to pay full retail price for something?

It's becoming more and more clear that Trump is a horrible business man, but more than that, he embodies many of the worst parts of American business culture. Cheat as much as you can and the best way to make money is to screw everyone as hard as you can. Therefore, how badly you are getting away with screwing people over is a proxy for how good you are at making money. It's competition and adviserialism taken to absurd extremes and I wish there were a way to banish it from our way of thinking.

Outgoing UKIP leader Nigel Farage is to address supporters of Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Mississippi later.

He will appear before 15,000 activists in Jackson, although it is unclear whether he will share the stage with the Republican presidential nominee.

Mr Farage told local radio in the state that the similarities between Brexit and the US election were "uncanny".

Mr Trump, who is trailing his rival Hillary Clinton in the opinion polls, backed the UK's exit from the EU.

In a tweet last week, Mr Trump said: "They will soon be calling me Mr Brexit."

That passage is from her book that just came out right before Donald pulled the rug out from under her. The Alt Reich is being betrayed by their hero and the proprietor of the website that caters to them.
 
Trump doesn't go off the rails, but his campaign does. It's clear that the Trump campaign has fully embraced the alt right Breitbart narrative. Trump calls Hillary a bigot. But this time Trump is not off script.

As part of the most bizarre campaign strategy I can remember Trump in front of an all white crowd in Mississippi, Trump said the Democrats were not helping blacks but using them calling Hillary Clinton a bigot.

Classic Donald.

Out of curiosity will both Hillary and Donald be at the AL Smith Dinner this year? Should be fascinating if they are.

Pulling an all white crowd in Jackson, Mississippi is quite a feat. It's around 80% African American. Also, why would you campaign in Mississippi this late in the election?

I don't know. It's about the only State that is still friendly to Trump. Do you know if Trump was actually in the city or in one of the suburbs? In the 1960 Census Jackson was 65 percent White but like a lot of cities in the South, the Whites moved to the suburbs and today the city proper is 78 percent African American.
