Even IF Hillary had a seizure and suffers from epilepsy - which I doubt based on the responses from other posters whom I trust more, and I'm not going to hunt for and watch the footage - I think that's highly offensive to all those who suffer from epilepsy. And I did so myself from the age of 6 to the age of 11. Epilepsy does not interfere with someone's ability to function and make sound judgment calls. Unlike a narcissistic personality disorder, from which Trump is obviously suffering considering what experts say.

It does not seem to be epilepsy. Possibly a brain injury. And where is the offense?

If Hillary has a brain condition, and is stressing herself by pushing so hard to get what she wants, it could be a panic attack triggered by a unexpected noise or perceived attack. That may be why she took a rest last week.

I know about panic attacks due to tiredness and irregular hours.

As a teenager I suffered from a few panic attacks which seems like seizures. Certainly lack of control. My brother and my friends thought it highly amusing - especially when I fell off the wall while laughing uncontrollably. I don't blame them. They were not being nasty.

But this is Africa, and people find many things funny. People fall off the back of a truck and the first reaction is laughter, and then they go to see if they are okay. The "victims" see the funny side, and wait for their turn to laugh at others. Life here is hard, and humor helps everyone.

I looked at various versions from various angles. She bobs and blinks, recovers slightly and then bobs and blinks a second time and then comments about the drink. What "looping" are you referring to?

Many sites play it multiple times, but it is clear where the start and finish is.

Hillary is a tightly controlled person who wants to look presidential at all times. I do not see this as voluntary. There are times she bobs and nods excessively but it is part of her stage presence. Perhaps she has not stopped it so as to have an excuse if it happens involuntarily.

The lack of (mass, liberal) media coverage is a give-away that they think it may be a problem.

Time will tell.

The looping was in the first distributed copies with the OMG She's Dying trope of the right wing media. They looped it back so that her gesture repeated so it looked more severe and then they put it in slow motion and repeated it again. If you look at it in real time, the entire episode takes eleven seconds and that includes a second before the "seizure" and about four seconds after. If you see the reverse angle of it, she was apparently starting to respond to the reporter holding out the smartphone she appears to be reacting to, but it was actually a second reporter interrupting that caused her reaction.

She's not a great public speaker, was launching into an answer and another reporter interrupted her, and she started. She then laughed at herself for doing so and repeated her goofy gesture - a little self-deprecating humor, if a clumsy effort.

But in no way does it look like a seizure. It's a smarmy rumor from the smarmy underbelly of the campaign.

I addressed this already. You didn't address my counter to this bit of wisdom. Do you think it's similar to Trump's people refusing to address what many are saying? That he won't release his tax returns because he supports NAMBLA?

If it's not true, why doesn't he just come out and say it? Huh? Huh? Got something to hide, does he?

I suspect a lot of people would struggle to recognize Stalin unless he is in his postwar era uniform due to the exposure to enhanced propaganda pictures. Even in the USSR it was not uncommon for people faced with Stalin to struggle to recognize him until they got a portrait to compare him to.

Stalin had badly pock-marked skin. That's enough to throw anyone off who only knew him from his propaganda pictures.

I don't like Hillary, but the barrage of questions about her health seem to contrived. Unflattering pictures, some nervous ticks, the fact that she sits down before going on stage, she wears the wrong clothing for weather conditions, possibly to hide medical equipment on her body, her secret service guy is actually a medic etc etc.

She's not young and could cope with some problems, and our new 24-hour new cycle + user generated content on social media, it is difficult to hide problems.

But remember, Churchill was an overweight alcoholic who suffered depression and panic attacks. Alexander was a short alcoholic. Teddy was in wheelchair and Leonid Brezhnev was probably dead. They all performed fine under stressful circumstances.

This Hillary's health crap is competing with Trig trutherism for stupidest unfounded partisan attack in a Presidential election.

True, but consider the context.
I like to think I am not the only person who if finding himself on an elevator with Adolph Hitler would then assume that anyone standing nearby with a bushy mustache would be Stalin.

Alternatively, one of the reasons the joke fails a little bit from a European perspective is that they assume that if a conservative found himself in that situation, he'd say "who wants to buy a gun," because he understands how unconstitutional background checks are.

J/k

It makes me wonder if it isn't an unintended admission of poor health on Trump's part. Everything else is "accuse the other guy of whatever your own problem is," coupled with a suspiciously good, I mean really good, just tremendously clean bill of health from his doctor.

Well, that is classic KGB disinformation technique.

And the junior high distraction procedure. "I know you are but what am I?"

To be honest, I don't think Trump's approach is based on the KGB strategy, but more on that of the junior high student.

He's used "I'm rubber and you're glue" too, which is third grade. He's covering his important voter demographics.

Is it? Is there an official name for it?

No, this is a preemptive accusation. A counter-accusation made before the initial accusation. Like a tu quoque without the quoque. You can see it in politics all the time, especially from conservative candidates.

It is very obvious to me that Trump is a very confident business person who has leadership qualities.
That scares the elite because he is unlikely to be "controllable" or "bought".
Hillary is ideally suited in those two regards.

I don't think there are enough facts to support that. Based on their tax returns the Clinton's appear to be very wealthy and able to generate very large sums of money with very little effort, i.e. speaking and appearance fees.

In fact, I would wager that the Clintons had a higher income last year than Trump. I don't know that to be true, but I'd be willing to make that bet. Of course we will have to wait for Trump's Tax return to know, but do you think it is possible?

And what if Clinton is better at business than Trump? Would that change your mind? Or is there something else you like about Trump?
