Is there anyone that isn't in on your contrived conspiracy? We've had the DOJ, State Dept., and the FBI. You have implicated that every single one of them has, in some way, covered up for or outright lied to protect some form of democrat.

I will actually agree with you, it is politics. Trump is currently trying to use this as a political jab at Obama for not being there. Yet, the representatives form the state itself are saying that, federally, everything has gone perfectly. Read the quotes, they've been nothing but positive. What would Obama do, or possibly bring to the table, that would beat what is happening right now? As the politicians said, and it's completely reasonable to believe, nothing. He would be a bit of a distraction that isn't really needed given what's going on right now. Skeptical inquiry does not mean that I can't decide, after thinking about it, that it's completely reasonable.

Yes, playing the martyr is fun and all, but you started the thread. You've done nothing to support your position that Obama is in anyway to blame, that the flood is even on a scale as bad as Katrina (in both destruction and clean up response), or that there has been any mishandling of this natural disaster at all. I guess the answer to your OP is a resounding, "No." Which is then supported by a mountain of evidence, most of which you've handwaved away. You aren't being picked on, you're being informed.

Well, it looks like Obama is going to visit Louisiana on Tuesday, only five days after Gov. Edwards said that he would want him to "wait a week or two" so as not to divert precious state resources away from search and recovery.

So my question is about the timing. Did Obama decide to go earlier than planned because Trump's visit put pressure on him, or was it because the Baton Rouge golf courses are drying out faster than expected?
