Ok, phew, now I am back on track . . . Tell us about Fred Schiefler and how you know about his experiences - which statements are truthful, which are accurate, which are not. How do you know his inaccuracies are outright lies? I am curious to hear.

Btw it is not news that there are mixed-up or dishonest folks talking about a topic of popular curiosity and interest. We know all this already - Neander discussed it, for example - and that was 10 years ago. But the fact that stuff goes on doesn't speak to the research and evidence for the Holocaust - unless you can show that scholars have relied on mainly people like Fred Schiefler. Which scholarly books is Schiefler quoted in and on what topics?

You are now backing away from your earlier celebration that Neander's article "PROVES EVERYTHING" you guys say about soap . . .

Now I guess we can pick and chose who we want to believe. When we bring forth the witnesses they are liars, when we hear your witnesses they are all telling the truth. PLENTY more people gave their testimonies that made a mockery of this death camp crap....When Eric Hunt went to the university to get more of those embarrassing witness testimonies they banned him from the campus......What else is new....Just like they do in a lot of these forums that discuss this topic.. I'm just curious, why would a supposed "death camp" have urns in them for the remains of people? It was a DEATH CAMP... why the urns?

NO the bold face is the scholars Assumption as he uses the final solution crap as his foundation...My point was this soap nonsense material WAS USED IN THE Nuremberg TRIALS, yes or no?

David Irving has been discussing just WW2 stuff and he has been banned by a few countries, Ernst Zündel, was kicked out of America and ended up in Jail in Germany. Where is his free speech discussing this stuff? Paul Fromm from Canada is having a hell of the time coming from Canada into the USA. I'll tell you what establish a foundation with a mailing address in Europe, put a few articles in the newspapers of even on Facebook and tell me what happens. The Jews have poisoned the well for free speech everywhere. My own newspaper banned me from online comments. Ya right, free speech...lol

No, we evaluate the testimony of witnesses against other evidence and make judgments that way; sometimes it can be shown that witnesses misremember details - and so we reject what doesn't add up. This is not unique to the Holocaust.

I don't have witnesses. But you should be aware that I reject parts of the testimony of witnesses who confirm my theories when they do so in a way that raises questions about the validity of their recollections. When I am working with testimonies, I routinely ask colleagues for help in identifying problem areas - as they may know things I don't and spot issues I miss. For example, this guy, Alexander Contract:

I discussed his recorded testimony with colleagues and even though he made points that other witnesses mentioned, much of what he relates about his own life and his experiences is impossible, based on other sources and internal consistency, so I decided Contract is likely a fraud and his testimony cannot be used as confirmation of what we think happened. This sort of thing is everyday business for people who study history.

You accuse me of operating differently - an accusation for which, like much else you post, you have zero evidence.

Eric Hunt, the felon? Ok, but I know you guys like to go on and on about Moshe Peer, Jack Sittsamer, Irene Zisblatt, Emmaly Reed, Zelda Gordon and such folks. The more you do, the more obvious it is that you don't know how historians have reached the conclusions they've reached or even how to assess such testimonies. Here's a good example of how to deal with testimony, from your new friend Joachim Neander: "Irene Zisblatt, the "Diamond Girl" - Fact or Fiction?"

Could you post the particulars of Hunt's ban from "the university"? He has certainly used significant amounts of copyrighted material from the USC Shoah archives without apparent permission . . .

My point was that Neander concluded, from his study, that it was mentioned cautiously and in a general way in the judgment. Even that was an error - subsequent research done in Europe, of the kind you say cannot be done, has corrected the error.

My other point is that no one here uses "soap" as evidence for the Holocaust so your fixation on this topic is rather misplaced. Here anyway.
