Can you Pass the UK citizenship test?

I got 22/23, missing the question on magistrates.

My cat scored 0/1. He stepped on my iPad during the quiz but got the wrong answer.

Took the test again; 20/24, had to guess on 5 questions.

ETA; I took this back in Aug 2014. :)

24/24, but I admit to guessing on the Richard Arwright question. And others were an educated guess, Remembrance day is our Veterans Day. I assume Bonfire night is: remember remember the 5th of November.

Some of these are silly. Knowing about what organizations deal with soccer?? OK.

I was surprised by the football question. Surely, you have some notion of secularism over there?

I didn't finish it because my 13 year old daughter asked me why I was doing a test for stupid people.

ETA: She got 23 and I got the remaining one right (about magistrates' legal qualifications)

20/24 pass, on the test in the OP.

I'm from the US. A lot of the questions just seemed like standard history or literature questions in the US.

21/24, from the US, although the questions that had "which two of the following" all only allowed one answer. What the hell are questions about Jane Austen and JK Rowling doing on citizenship tests? I got them both right, but I had to laugh.

I guess the UK Citizenship courses include general knowledge, unlike the American Citizenship Courses which is pretty much the same as that Civics course that all Yanks have to take in High School.

The US approach seems better to me

21/24, without guessing. I'm from Germany.

Didn't know about Arkwright and the magistrates, and simply misread St. David. So maybe 22...

Yeah, problematic test. The multiple-answers-only-accepting-one is one thing.

Once Article 50 is invoked, I guess the point of doing the test will be lost.
Dual citizenship be hanged, I'll now just be another foreigner when visiting Europe.
