"Trash" is what both parties have put up for people to vote for this year. I'll end up voting for Hillary, because Trump is such a danger, though I'll have to hold my nose so hard it cuts off circulation while doing it. I normally despise the idea of voting against someone rather than for someone (I did that with Kerry and look what good that did), and I resent the establishment system that makes me choose to vote for someone because their opponent is an even bigger chunk floating on top of the septic tank. As such I really can't hold it too much against someone who says, "**** it, I'm not voting for either of these slime balls!"

I agree about the stupidity of the Bernie or Bust fools,but to be honest,most political party platforms are mainly symbolic.They always promise more then can ever be delivered. And they always have sections that are just for the purpose of satisfying the hard line ideologues, and which are quickly forgotten by most candidates.

Back in 2000 when Hillary Clinton was running for the U.S. Senate seat in my home state, New York, I very seriously considered voting for her opponent Rudy Giuliani. I had the same bad feelings about Hillary that you're hearing now. I didn't like her and I definitely didn't trust her. But I'm a loyal Democrat (and I wondered if Giuliani would really make a good Senator) and I voted for her anyway and over the next several years she completely changed my mind. She turned out to be very pragmatic, a problem-solver willing to work with Republicans or anyone else to make New York a better place for all of us. Whenever there was a real problem -- whether it was a highway that needed rebuilding, a transit system that needed support, an initiative to try and attract more business to New York and on and on -- she was always there. She was always prepared, always knew the facts and was ready to sign on for a smart solution. As a Senator she turned out to be one of the least partisan Senators in Washington.

Hillary Clinton is a victim of a decades-long smear the likes of which I don't think I've ever seen another major American political figure subjected to. The accusations would fill a book; the smoking guns nonexistent. Everything is innuendo and 'you can't prove a negative,' and it is just endless. Is it in part because she's a woman? I would feel naive not to think that plays a role.

Vote for her but don't hold your nose. If elected I'm sure she'll be a good President. In fact her opponent said the same thing up until a few years ago when he decided he wanted to run. ;)

You of course don't fit in to what I am going to say because you are doing the right thing, but what you are saying is that you have sympathy for selfishness. Resent the system all you want, I *********** hate the system, the constitution is centuries old and should be completely modernized but a bunch of pedantic asshats think that it was channeled by God so we need to wait another generation before that can happen. In the meantime, you have a binary choice, and anyone who says that they are both equally crap is incompetent and unworthy of their own brain, and anyone who goes around telling anyone who will listen how virtuous they are by sitting it out makes me want to puke. I have to hold my nose in a lot of situations and I'm just used to it. I don't come home from work and vent to my girl about all of the fan flung **** I had to wipe off. That is all.

I'm a nice guy, I can hang out and be friends with people who will vote for Trump or won't vote, being kind and focusing on our similarities instead of differences is important to me. I talk trash but I would never mistreat anyone for their political views or lack thereof.

Do you have any idea how many Presidential elections I've heard your song? Try 13. I can also tell you that it is NEVER TRUE. I'm a Democrat and I can only think of 2 maybe 3 Presidential or VP candidates during time that were grossly under qualified. And only 1 who scared the crap out of me when he ran and that is Trump. I opposed tax and social policies of the Republicans but I really didn't think any at the time were sleazeballs.

The sad part of living in today's world is just the sheer amount of garbage spewed around and it's easy to get caught up in it. It's so easy to believe all the spurious innuendo.

I have fought online to change the image of Amanda Knox. She was painted very effectively as a manipulative she-witch. Nothing could be further from the truth and the facts didn't matter.

Do yourself a favor, ignore all the comments in the forums and just learn about Hillary She is a damn good person, Senator and Secretary of State.
