What got to me was the narcissism of Trump's speech. It is the old demagogue's message;Give me power and I will solve your problems.
IF Trump wins, the best we get is the Nixon Administration on Steroids;the Worst the end of Democracy as we know it.
Right now, I feel as though I will never vote for a Republican again.

Its a legitimate fear at this point. If he enacts policies that match his rhetoric, we're in a lot of trouble. Everybody is.

I'm surprised they haven't realised that the more you constrain Donald with a prompter speech, the more likely he is to go ******* the next day. Way to upstage the speech from last night with that presser.

The podium is well above the audience. An outstretched wave will, by practice, look like hers did (for all of a moment).

Better to take issue with her ongoing statements and beliefs than focus on something that isn't a thing. Doing that waters down other criticism to a "boy who cried wolf" level of ineffectiveness.

I'm actually not sure. Looking at the video, it looks like she's going for the salute and then immediately restraining herself. It might be that she realized that her gesture could be misconstrued as a Nazi salute, and it might be that she simply forgot she wasn't in her echo-chamber.

C'mon people... Laura Ingraham's NAZI salute was an honest mistake. Anyone could have done it. Let's not make a big deal about it. I mean who could actually blame her? She forgot where she was.
