Carson links Hillary to Lucifer

I know that every election cycle, some people assert that this presidential race is more hateful and more divisive than any in the past. And other posters give samples from past races which show that the hatred and name calling was not worse than the current one.

So, I want to ask. Is this time worse than any other time? Has a scheduled speaker at a convention ever accused an opponent of being linked to Satan?

The rhetoric is actually pretty typical especially among the Republicans. It's not very different from what you hear on right wing radio day in and day out. If you go back in history you will find some pretty awful divisive rhetoric of the founding fathers.

2016 and grown men are basing decisions on the existence of demons. I am at a loss for words.

I often shake my head at that very fact.

Still, it got worse for the RNC; the lead singer of a band that played for them asked people to raise their hands if they liked science.

He was booed.

USA: you are in deep, deep trouble if this clown gets the White House.

Every day the right wing nutjobs prove just how crazy they are. Hillary writes her college thesis about Saul Alinsky. A totally appropriate thesis for a political science major which Hillary was. Alinsky wrote a book called Rules for Radicals where he suggested that Lucifer was the first radical and therefore according to Carson, Hillary is a disciple of Lucifer.

I wrote a paper in college about Goebbels and his propaganda techniques, this does not make me a NAZI.

I wrote a college thesis for a forensics course so clearly I'm a murderer. Makes sense if you squint.

Ben Carson Goes Rogue, Links Hillary Clinton to Lucifer
http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/07/ben-carson-rnc-convention-lucifer

After Christie's "trial" of Hillary, Carson came on stage and linked Hillary to Lucifer.... Since her college mentor, Saul Ailinsky, once wrote "to Lucifer" as a joke dedication on a book he wrote.

To think this guy was once the front-runner....

I think that the fruit salad that Ben Carson ate for dinner might have fermented into something alcoholic.

I've read a great deal of the thesis. Alinsky isn't the devil the Republicans make him out to be. He reads a lot like like Paine even Jefferson. He is an interesting character and is an important person in political history. He fully admits working with Communists but says anyone who worked for progressive goals in the 30s did. He goes on to say that anyone who worked for those things in the 30s and says he didn't is a *********** liar.

He criticized many of the radicals In the 60s for abandoning their middle class values.

What I see that I really like about Hillary is that she has an open mind. This is a woman who worked for Goldwater, interned and worked on Gerald Ford's staff and yet also worked in free legal clinics for the poor and Eugene McCarthy.

That is a sign of someone seeking to learn from anyone and everyone.

so many things wrong in one post...

I can understand, even though I do not share, a sane person's hatred of Hillary.
I can understand, though I do not agree, how a sane person can believe Hillary and her party's general or particular policies are harmful to the country.
I can understand, though i do not agree, how a sane person could believe that Hillary's character is bad and even that she ought to be prosecuted.

I cannot understand how any sane person can bring Lucifer into this argument, and I truly cannot understand how any sane person, whatever his stance on Hillary, would consider the introduction of such lunacy useful.

Not recently - though history suggests this could well have happened in the past.

Think of it like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, but with Lucifer. Clinton score a two and that's bad.

Now I am wondering where Kevin Bacon falls in Six Degrees of Lucifer.

Ben Carson doesn't believe in evolution. He is a doctor yet doesn't believe everyone should have access to health care. Would you let such a person touch a family member's brain?

Maybe someone should touch his brain and tell him the republicans are not the party black people are voting for for a good reason.

Now, they announce that Al Baldasaro, listed as Trumps "veteran's advisor", is demanding that Hillary be executed by firing squad for treason.

He's being investigated by the secret service.....

I half paid attention to Carson's speech while I was on my phone. For a second I was like, "Did he just... Yeah, he probably did."

(Quiet!!!! Please!!! We haven't told him he's Black yet!!! )
