On the other hand...it probably won't hurt the campaign at all because Republicans have no shame.
Everyone remember when Paul Manafort was hired and pundits were claiming he was going to professionalize the Donald's campaign and produce a great convention? There's still three more days to this amateur hour show. Maybe Donald is right to still be getting advice from Corey Lewandowski.

Donald will probably blame it on the media if he even mentions it and his moron followers will believe it.
BTW, I just saw that Melania told Matt Lauer earlier today that she wrote the speech. I doubt it though.
About the same that he takes credit for helping write and edit the speech before eventually claiming to have written the whole thing himself.

Positive words about the guy that dubbed him Lyin Ted, insulted his wife, and accused his dad of involved in the JFK assassination?
He also spent the day accusing him of leading the neverTrump movement. Odd that this request is still being made during the convention.
Because journalists care way more about plagiarism than the public at large, everyone news outlet will focus on that rather than how just about every speech called for Hillary (and sometimes Obama) to be jailed for specious reasons and way too much content could charitably be referred to as race baiting.

I took one for the team, here. I watched the People of Color segment at the end of Hannnity. Not a word of it, not a crawl headline.
But they went to their "news" show after Hannity and the did cover the "questions about the similarity" of the speeches and mentioned that they'd asked the Trump campaign to comment, with no results so far.
