A lot of commentators are saying the RNC should have allowed the vote to happen. Trump would have won anyway,and you would not have a bunch of angry delegates who feel they have been screwed over by a fly by night parliamentary procedure. Worse, people are going to wonder if the dictorial method is how Trump will try to run the country....
 
I'm hoping for Doom, death, destruction, defenestration, disintegration, malnutrition, cataclysm, intubation, marination, cannibalism, deflagration, fragmentation, infection, concantenation, confabulation, and the wailing and crying of the dead and dying for the pure sake of alliteration!!! All the trappings of a good republicker convention

You left out the Cuyahoga river catching on fire again........

Seriously, this has the makings of one of the really divisive conventions, ranking with the Democrats in Charleston in 1860 (the most disasterous convention every,since it lead directly to the start of the Civil War) and the GOP in 1912.
 
I made my wife turn off some bearded idiot (yes, I know who he is) and put on House Hunters. She then switched to the Tour de France. With any luck I'll be able to avoid the concon for the rest of the evening,

Calling to repeat his myopia... he's still running in the primary. He was asked to comment on Kasich not being there and he went into two minutes on how "I beat him, had more votes than anyone in history,... etc..." And then proceeded to his new exciting message.... Let's go after Black Lives Matter. I think he basically just threw out the First Amendment. Ominous autocratic Trump bluster. He'll have them investigated or "at least watched". Gee, I miss Joe McCarthy and J. Edgar Hoover, too.
 
Simples: The more the chaos, the less chance of any opposition to Trump's eventual success. If there isn't enough, someone will stir it up. And all the time, pointing at Hillary and saying "Look! A distraction! Over there!".

Thing is America has never been safer. Not that Republicans care about things like facts.
 
Trump's wife has been speaking a bit now. But they put the teleprompters too far to her left and right, and I think she's going to get whiplash.
