How are they getting all the speeches in? Do you ask a Rick Perry to show up and speak to no tv cameras and no audience at 3 in the afternoon. There's on prime spot - one hour from ten to eleven EDT, when the broadcast networks will be giving dedicated coverage. And we all know Melania gets that slot.

I believe that's the time slot reserved for a surprise stream of consciousness very loosely connected to the day's theme from Donald.

That's why, looking at that yuge list, I think some of these people are going to walk out on stage and wave. Today's theme is supposed to be Law and Order? What does the old bigot from Duck Dynasty or Scott Baio or Antonio Sabato Jr. have to bring on Law and Order?

For that matter.... Melania? She's going to tell how swell it is to be married to someone who really really cares about Law and Order. Only in Trumpivania would they think that putting up his latest trophy wife was somehow related to the topic.

Oh, and I couldn't bear to watch it, but just like all of Trump's upcoming speeches and events where "really important stuff, so important you wouldn't believe how huge" is to be discussed, Fox was offering Donald's pre-spin on his wife's speech, this morning. I'm sure they're showing it somewhere on Fox, again and again, as it's what they do.

Along with a caption at the bottom of the screen that reads something like:
"Breaking News: Brilliant speech by Melania. Best speech ever?"

After Alex Jones, Roger Stone takes the stage and accuses Hillary Clinton of having Vince Foster murdered. He then apologizes from being late because he was in a meeting with Donald's staff. Donald is implicitly endorsing this dreck.

All Donald cares about are the ratings and this will probably do gangbusters because everyone loves watching a train wreck.

I've watched at least 60 percent of every Republican and Democratic National Convention for almost 50 years and yet I don't think I can bear to watch this one.
