Facilitated Communication Nonsense still doing Harm

See if you can find the original CBC TV series staring Megan Fellows. DO NOT under any circumstances see the recent remake. It had the depth of a piece of tissue paper.

I VCRed it at the time it played in US and later got the DVD's. Cast was good, she was great!!! Oh - have you seen the Murdoch Mysteries/Artful Detective? On and off, the young officer (Crabtree who wants to be an author) who goes around with him meets the author in a writing class and offers to help her(it's before she published)!!!

Continuing with the considerable thread drift (Hey. It's my thread.)

My wife and I both are devoted Murdoch fans. Even though there have been a couple of episodes in the most recent season that seemed to have had a shark in the water as Murdoch jumped by. Part of our delight is trying to recognize the scenes in modern day Toronto. The Distillery_DistrictWP features big.

The same production company is making the Houdini and Hoyle TV show. A major difference being that the H & H show has a bigger budget and can have crowd scenes with real crowds. If you note on Murdoch there are never more than about 8 people in a scene. ;)

Miss Pledding. :o

Quite a card show actually.

That piece is just as powerful now as then. The Syracuse University facilitated communication institute (mentioned in the 1993 show) is still around under a new name. It's part of the School of Education.

I am guessing Syracuse University is a hotbed of intellectual idiocy wrapped in a cloak of magic "let's make things look like this **** works -because if we **** it up we may lose a load of fundage!!!"
