Hillary Clinton is Done: part 2

Want to bet 16.5 whether or not there will be an indictment? Here's why I know there won't be.

1. The basic facts of this case has been known for quite a while by the DOJ and the FBI.

2. It would be patriotically wrong and grossly irresponsible for investigators knowing that to wait for such a late date to indict a candidate for the Presidency. Especially, knowing that it would have a dramatic effect on a Presidential election.

I can't imagine that anyone who cares about democracy would do that. I know that prospect has you drooling though.
16.5 is way too chicken to make a bet about this. Believe, I've tried.

Wrong. That some information was later classified is not the same as what Petraeus did when he leaked information he KNEW to be classified to a Rolling Stone reporter he was sleeping with.

Despite Clinton claims, 2012 email had classified marking

"Hillary Clinton, from the moment her exclusive use of personal email for government business was exposed, has claimed nothing she sent or received was marked classified at the time.

"But a 2012 email released by the State Department appears to challenge that claim because it carries a classified code known as a “portion marking” - and that marking was on the email when it was sent directly to Clinton’s account.

"A US government source said there are other Clinton emails with classified markings, or marked classified, beyond the April 2012 document."

16.5 is way too chicken to make a bet about this. Believe, I've tried.

It's wishful thinking and or just a desire to keep maligning the Clintons. For going on 25 years I've been reading about how the Clintons are bound for jail. I've seen the right wingers suggest on National TV and right wing radio, say that Hill and Bill are not only corrupt, but they have had dozens of people killed in their quest for power and to hide some dirty secret.

Still, it all ends up being bs.

Odd, I correct you on basic facts and your response is this nonsense?

Even if that were true, does that constitute a crime or a mistake? If it was email after email I think you would be right. If it was one or even a small few, that could easily be explained and written off. It's not like when Cheney deliberately exposed American spy Valerie Plame. I notice that no one went to jail from that.

U.S. Code 18, Section 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information:

"Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both."

You can call it a "mistake". But the legal definition is "gross negligence".

What I hear is endless babble meaning little. I'm not an attorney, but according to legal scholars it's not even close to being a cut and dried criminal offense. You can argue the minutae in a pathetic attempt to convince others, but you're not using common sense.

Time will tell but I'm confident that like Ben Ghazi, nothing will come of this.

It's a whole lot of fury and feigned outrage over a minor mistake.

We'll see. Yawn.

A minor mistake?

She set up an unencrypted private server in her own home. And then sent emails back and forth to the President of the United States -- 18 in total; and Obama replied to 2 of them.

The woman is either monumentally stupid, or she was trying to circumvent transparency laws (FOIA).

How mad are you going to be when nothing comes of this and she is elected President of the United States herself?

LOL.

And of course you give zero ***** about your Cheeto Fuhrer literally scamming desperate people out of money. Your credibility is negative.

Hilited: That, in a nutshell is Judge Janine's CT approach to this. Hill and Bill met with Barry back in December and reminded him that he's been receiving from and sending to the homebrew server, and as Bill would've put it, "If we go down, a whole lot of others are going down, too. Wink Wink Nudge Nudge."

See? It's a plot to make the Republicans expend all their energy on this and steal the headlines the day of the formal nomination of A Shmuckwork Orange. The FBI and DoJ will not only say there's no evidence of a crime but will propose that Congress amends the Constitution to make July 18th "Hillary Clinton Day".

Hey, Judge Janine knows. She told me "you can bank on it, the fix is in".

I just pointed out to you that the former Vice President deliberately outed an American spy and nothing out of you. Feigned outrage is spot on.

I'm not familiar with the details of the case and would need research it further. But the fact that Dick Cheney is a Republican, means nothing to me -- I detest both parties. If Cheney committed a crime, let's give him a fair trial, and if he's found guilty then put him in prison or execute him. The fewer of these scoundrels on the loose, the better off we'll all be.

Funny how often I hear that from someone who constantly attacks Democrats. Never Republicans though. I congratulate you on your abject neutrality.

LOL, of course you don't.

Well, you might want to go back and review my comments. Specifically, Lyin' Ted Cruz and Low-energy Jeb Bush. I attacked those two as viciously as anyone else at this forum. And if I'm not mistaken, their both Republicans.

This is of course what happens after one takes the Hitler oath. How does one care about Hillary's emails and support a man who thinks cheating people is just good business?

A man that has been sued more than 3500 times. Most for not paying his bills. Trump has employed a nasty tactic dealing with vendors and contractors throughout the years which is refusing to pay the bill unless a vendor agrees to lower the agreed upon price. Extend him Net 15 and he'll take Net 60 and then will insist you lower your bill if you want to be paid at all. And often you have to sue him to get paid at all. He'll then make it all your fault alleging that your work was substandard. Or he'll plead poverty and threaten to declare bankruptcy or declare bankruptcy which he has 4 times. Trump in New York/New Jersey is not only famous, he's notorious.

Trump has suggested that we act this way as a nation. How long do you think that the US can keep its AAA credit rating when the President is telling the world they have to accept less?

He never thinks about what he says, he just opens it and vomits his unformed rants all over us. He calls everybody "stupid". Who does that? I wouldn't want a friend like that, let alone the President of the United States.

He thinks he smarter that the generals...he's not. He thinks he's smarter than everyone, yet is the least informed candidate since Sarah Palin and I think he gives her a run for the money.

I don't understand this phenomenon. Trump was and is the least qualified, least ethical, least honest Republican who ran in the election and the GOP nominated him. I thought it was classic that Trump referred to Cruz as "lying Ted" as no Presidential candidate in history lies as much as Trump.

What this is proving to me is the people are far more gullible than I thought...and I thought they could be pretty gullible.

It is pretty simple. A huge portion of Republican primary voters are crazy, stupid, authoritarian bigots.
