Hillary Clinton is Done: part 2

If she doesn't plead the fifth, I think the investigation winds down and she doesn't get indicted.

If she pleads the fifth a million bazilion times, will it make you suspicious in anyway?

Hillary Clinton has only two options:

1) Plead the fifth

2) Perjury

Either one is guaranteed to have disastrous consequences.

So wrong. Time will tell though.

I hope some posters at least have the decency to be ashamed about just how wrong they will have proven themselves to be.

I'll be the first to say I totally blew it and hope I catch Tony on a good day when he picks my Avatar photo.

Will you admit you have no idea what you are talking about when it turns out she answers the questions and nothing happens to her (well besides being elected the President of the United States)?

No, of course not. Because you constantly spew outrageous garbage with zero regard for whether it is true or not. Just like your Cheeto Fuhrer.

It's also possible none of this rises to "gross negligence" and she gets the FBI equivalent of a stern talking to when the investigation ends.

Good evening. What will be the next conspiracy theory contrived about Hillary when this one is put to bed? I'm guessing it will be about the clandestine meeting out on the tarmac. Better start assembling a investigative committee to prepare for months of hearings. There had to be something sneaky and illegal going on.

"In January 2015, the FBI and the Justice Department recommended bringing felony charges against former CIA Director David Petraeus for providing classified information to his biographer and mistress Paula Broadwell.

"Petraeus denied the allegations and was reported to have had no interest in a plea deal. However, on March 3, 2015, the U.S. Justice Department announced that Petraeus agreed to plead guilty in federal court to a charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified information.

"On April 23, 2015, a federal judge sentenced Petraeus to two years’ probation plus a fine of $100,000. The fine was more than double the amount the Justice Department had requested."

-- Wikipedia: David Petraeus

The only reason David Petraeus isn't sitting in prison right now, is because he agreed to a plea deal. And all he did was show his sweetheart and mistress -- who was writing a biography of his life -- information that was marked classified.

In Hillary's case, if "top secret" classified information has fallen into the hands of Guccifer, Russian hackers, or WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, due solely to her "gross negligence," then the Justice Department must either indict her or give David Petraeus back his $100,000. Her negligence warrants more than a measly scolding.

I saw the Wikileaks teaser. Some of my friends downloaded the insurance file. That was a week ago. I'm losing patience. What are they waiting for?

<snipped same old same old>

I literally gobsmacked that people are grossly misrepresenting Sullivan's ruling.

You literally gobsmacked who? You're not allowed to hit people on these forums, notwithstanding that I'd like to see the mechanics involved.

To the point you are trying to make: Then stop doing it. That'll fix the problem in a hurry.

They don't really have anything and are just pretending to so they can feel important.

Someone help me out. Is it being claimed that Judge Sullivan's ruling that Clinton can be deposed supposed to make her guilty of something?

Wrong. That some information was later classified is not the same as what Petraeus did when he leaked information he KNEW to be classified to a Rolling Stone reporter he was sleeping with.

Petraeus gave information he knew was classified directly to someone he knew did not have clearance. That is so wildly different I'm aghast you think it has any relevance.

Wrong. Clinton had intelligence that was classified before she received it.

Want to bet 16.5 whether or not there will be an indictment? Here's why I know there won't be.

1. The basic facts of this case has been known for quite a while by the DOJ and the FBI.

2. It would be patriotically wrong and grossly irresponsible for investigators knowing that to wait for such a late date to indict a candidate for the Presidency. Especially, knowing that it would have a dramatic effect on a Presidential election.

I can't imagine that anyone who cares about democracy would do that. I know that prospect has you drooling though.
