Hillary Clinton is Done: part 2

This is true. Hillary has flaws, as do the policies she represents. Then again, nobody is perfect. What is absolutely undeniable to a rational person is that she's far more qualified for the job of POTUS than Donald Trump.

The problem is that in a populist movement, rationality isn't a highly praised virtue.

Given the IG's report yesterday concerning how she ran the State Department, it is damn clear that she isn't qualified to run a dishwasher let alone a governmental agency.

The Trump/Sanders debate is such a slap in the face to Hillary for backing out of the California Debate she agreed to with Bernie.

Fantastic.

Washington Times said:
“And really, I want to run against Hillary. I don’t want to run against Bernie,” Mr. Trump said. “I want to run against crooked Hillary Clinton. We’re going to beat her so badly. I want to run against Crooked Hillary.”

 That and Teh Donald's wish that Bernie runs as an Independent (which would assure that Teh Donald wins) makes you believe that Trump wants to run against Sanders? LOLWUT? Oooo-k. :sdl:

Ah, so you haven't been paying attention. Trump saying something doesn't make it true, or even what he believes.

I'm just holding them to their own standards. Trump calls Rosie O'Donnell a fat pig, it means he calls women names.

Well, if you think that is the only time he has called a woman a name I see how you could be confused.

Hillary's supporters call women who accuse men of rape and sexual assault liars.

Again, if you think Hillary supporters call all women who accuse men of rape and sexual assault liars I can see how you would be confused.

How do you think Hillary supporters refer to Crystal Mangum?

These are the rules of the game, yes?

You play your own games, how could I know the rules.

Dude, consider facing reality. Check some polls for additional insights into what Teh Donald might wish for.

Sorry, but it is reality that Trump contradicts himself. It is also reality that Trump has been promoting Sanders, and that this debate is actually a Sanders promotion. There is no reason for Trump to debate someone who is extremely unlikely to get the nomination, unless it is to promote them. Remember, Clinton needs 84-103 (depending on your source) more delegates to eliminate Sanders (who needs over 90% of the remaining delegates...not going to happen)

Lolz. Hillary easily had the worst day possible of any candidate yesterday.

Governor Thomas Dewey would disagree. Hell, there's a list of candidates longer than my arm who would as well!

No reason? Didn't you read what he said?

Washington Post quoted in my previous link said:
Thirteen minutes into his interview with Donald Trump, ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel said he had a question from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). The Democratic primary underdog, who has camped out in California all week, was set to appear on Thursday night's episode.

"Here's the question from Bernie," said Kimmel. "Hillary Clinton backed out of an agreement to debate me before the Democratic primary. Are you prepared to debate the major issues facing our largest state and the country before the California primary?"

"Yes, I am," said Trump. "How much is he going to pay me? If I debated him, we would have such high ratings, I think I should take that money and give it to charity."

That, and as 16.5 mentioned already, such a debate would be the ultimate slap in the face of Her Entitledness, and that's a fun reason in of itself Teh Donald surely sees. We'll see if it happens, but anyway your idea that Trump would prefer to run against Sanders is utter laughable hogwash.

Yeah, no reason other than to promote Sanders over Clinton, as I said. When a candidate is actively promoting someone in the other party, it's pretty basic that that candidate would prefer to run against the person they are promoting.

If nothing else, helping Sanders prolong the nomination process, and potentially enter a contested convention, keeps Clinton from rallying her support and coalescing a full campaign strategy. It's divide-and-conquer, feeding into the Bernie supporters beliefs that he can pull out a victory, and further alienating them from Clinton.
