I'm still not clear how a comment about a particular (no doubt mixed-race) police department, no matter how ill-advised it may have been, translates to a hatred of all white people.

A compassionate one, but I tell you who wouldn't support gay marriage, a fundamentalist Muslim, they're so anti-homosexuality that they even stone people suspected of being homosexuals

I was told, if Obama was re-elected, gas would be well over $10 (Newt Gingrich), the economy would crash (Limbaugh), and there would be death panels (Palin). Obama hasn't even taken our guns away, and that seems like a Day One kind of "destroy America" policy decision!
 
Palin's death panel comments were in reference to a section of Obamacare that, due to the controversy, was never enacted.

Also, the cities of California would be overrun by armies of rampaging illegal immigrants, robbing, raping, and killing real Americans (Savage).


Death panels would have been redundant, in any case. We already have groups of bureaucrats with no medical training deciding whether people can receive medical treatment. We just call them "insurance companies."

What do you mean? Palin claimed the section amounted to death panels, there was a controversy, the Senate cut that section. Are you disagreeing that this is what happened?

The section she talked about was about advising people about living wills and end of life care options. After Newt, Limbaugh, and other TV nuts got on it everybody decided it must be true so it was deleted.

PolitiFact dubbed it as the "lie of the year".

President Obama is not Muslim. That being said, I have no problem with having a moderate Muslim president or a progressive Muslim president. If Pakistan elected former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, the United States might someday elect a Muslim President.

I have not problem with a president of any faith, except for Scientology, lol.
