Hillary Clinton is Done: part 2

Editing is not ghost writing. That is why editors get n editor credit and not a writing credit on a book.

It was GHOST WRITTEN and then Edited by Hillary's dark money Pac. C'mon man, learn the facts.

Almost 13 million people have voted for her. She has more popular votes than either Trump or Sanders.

And you're griping about campaign spending/tactics that you think are astroturfing?

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Looks like SG is channeling Richard M. Nixon

all is fair when defending Her Awfulness, huh?

Dude! Are you in love with SG or something? You spend a lot of time trolling her.

I wasn't trolling, at all. Dude, did it occur to you that SG makes terrible arguments?

Case in point, getting lots of votes justifies astroturfing?

Of course not that is ridiculous and Hillary's conduct is sleazy as hell.

C'mon "Dude."

That's weak sauce based on the emails. Correct the record did not "ghost write" the one editorial you are referring to.
It was written by a guy that managed his first campaign. Is that supposed to be somehow out of the ordinary ?

Atlanta Mayor’s Column Ripping Bernie Sanders Drafted by Lobbyist, Emails Show
https://theintercept.com/2016/05/06/hillary-super-pac-draft-oped/
Anne Torres, the mayor’s director of communications, told The Intercept this week that the column was not written by the mayor, but by Tharon Johnson, a former Reed adviser who now works as a lobbyist for UnitedHealth, Honda, and MGM Resorts, among other clients. The column’s revisions by staffers from Correct the Record are documented in the emails.

The dark money PAC did not ghost write it. That is important.

The dark money PAC did not ghost write it. That is important.

The fact that the dark money PAC was editing it is of course a concern, and demonstrates that they scurry around in the shadows.

The claim that they didn't ghost write it seems like bunk too:

One email describes how Torres was introduced to Daniel Wessel, a press secretary for Correct the Record, by Johnson.

On the morning before the column was published, Torres sent an email to Correct the Record asking Wessel to send her the “final version.” She sent over Reed’s bio and headshot and wrote, “Let me know if you need anything else.”

“Attached is a slightly modified version after CNN ran a fact check,” Wessel wrote back. The attached Word document shows a number of revisions through track changes, with multiple Correct the Record staffers providing edits. (The metadata of the document shows that Wessel created the document.)

although a corporate lobbyist working with a dark money Pac to create an OpEd piece published under the name of some political whore supporting Hillary and attacking her opponent just screams:

DEMOCRACY.

Here's another observer who thinks Hillary can lose to Trump if she isn't smart:
Unless Clinton can directly address people’s anxiety, their mistrust of government and of politicians, their need for an honest explanation of what ails America economically, she gives Trump running room. Unless she, like Trump and her own immediate rival, Bernie Sanders, can inspire people, she, like Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, and all of the other once-upon-a-time Republican hopefuls before her, may well fall before the Trump steamroller.

Really? I read that as the final version after editing. Unless you are implying that it is effectively a rewrite (like the speed script). Fair enough. No reason to minimize CTR involvement.

Once again though, I don't give two poops about superPac or corruption. Ease just skip that stuff in any reply to my posts.

Can one of you guys get an avatar? Your back-to-back posts are confusing me. ;)

I'm pretty sure that the whole point of a ghost writer is that they don't get a writing credit.

But you and 16.5, don't let facts get in your way...

Clinton and her coordinated PAC, are officially acting as mouthpieces for corporate lobbyists.

How is this acceptable?

"they had to remove on sentence on Obamacare to be factually accurate (they were pushing it in a way that would have defended Bernie)."

Oh now you would not want your ghost money dark money created document to defend Bernie with facts, now would you?

Hillary 2016!

"At most"?

Will you please provide a source for that assertion; I must of missed it?

It's "must have".

And the answer is in the conflicting assertion (yours) that he will be in charge of the US economy. You do realize that there's a Secretary of Commerce and a head of the Federal Reserve, right. Those would be the people who will directly be in charge of running the economy. Hillary threw out some fresh chum on the water for the Bubba Derangement Syndrome sufferers. She said he would be "in charge of revitalizing the economy". Revitalizing is not running the economy. It is a part of it.

For those of you who have trouble understanding or who don't speak Clintonese, here's a translation of what she said. "Hey, how ya doin'? As of today and for purposes of this election, I've asked Bubba to be my GOBA (good ol' boy ambassador). Y'all know Bill. Kinda guy you could go out and steal horses with, right? Not like some stuffy rich Yankee comin' down heah to tell us how to do things."

The fact that it gets a few right wing bloggers to froth at the mouth is just a bonus. Keep on keeping on, paleos!

Excerpt from the article:

"Eight years after the 2008 financial crisis, eight million Americans remain unemployed and another six million are working part time because they can’t find a full time job. Insecure jobs – the gig economy, temporary employment, contract work – have grown. Millions more have dropped out of the labor force altogether.

"For the employed and for those fearing unemployment, union protections have all but collapsed and the social safety net has frayed. For those who are lucky enough to be working, wages have lagged, yet the income of the top 0.1% continues to grow and grow and grow and none of the architects of the financial collapse have gone to jail."

--------------------

In 1992, James Carville coined the phrase "it's the economy, stupid" while working as a campaign strategist for Bill Clinton. A central theme of the campaign was "change vs. more of the same."

Fast forward to today and Crooked Hillary is the epitome of "more of the same." She's a career politician who never met a bribe she wouldn't take (Goldman Sachs et al).

The central theme of her campaign is "paid leave" and "child care". And as far the economy goes, she is uninvolved and plans to outsource the job to her husband.

Which raises a troubling and thorny issue. Due to the current nepotism laws, Bill Clinton can't hold a staff or cabinet position in Crooked Hillary's administration; so he will essentially be wielding power without any oversight.

If he makes a mess of it, how do you call for his resignation if he's not even an official member of the administration. And if you bring criminal charges against him, the president has the power to pardon him. This has disaster written all over it.

I know that propagandists will disagree, but repeating a lie, no matter how often, does not magically make it true.
