Formal charges were never brought against David Gregory for his little magazine stunt, even though he clearly broke the law, and I doubt many were surprised by that either. The expectation that she won't be prosecuted isn't necessarily based on whether or not she broke the law. The rules are different when you're connected.

Why do you think there is always something sinister behind every move she makes? She obviously felt he was worthy of hiring, and so she hired him. She paid him, it wasn't government money, and she can do whatever the **** she wants with her money. What's your complaint? That she hired someone you don't like. You're really grasping at straws at this point.

Hillary and her staff got sideways with the NSA because of Hillary's demand that Blackberry devices that could be used by her and her staff in her office’s Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).

Here’s the results of our meeting yesterday… as I had been speculating, the issue here is one of personal comfort … S [Secretary Clinton] does not use a personal computer so our view of someone wedded to their email (why doesn’t she use her desktop when in SCIF?) doesn’t fit this scenario … during the campaign she was urged to keep in contact with thousands via a BB … once she got the hang of it she was hooked …

Now here is the question of the hour, did the NSA know that the blackberrys were running emails stored off on a completely inadequate cowboy server kept in Hillary's basement?

here is another question I can already answer:

"why doesn’t she use her desktop when in SCIF?" Avid readers know that the answer to this is because her desktop didn't have direct access to her private emails!

Everything from day one was a cover up with these sleaze balls.

Well I don't like Jeffry Dahmer much so this is a good way to trivialize what it is we don't like about them.

Obama is supposed to make appointments to grave political posts like national security, state, armed forces - all the cabinet level executive positions.

Cheney already set a precedent under the most maliciously stupid president of all time to effectively be President Cheney: so much that when the planes hit the towers on 9/11, Bush kept reading away with grade school children while Cheney ran a keystone cops national defense response.

Blumenthal is a psycophant, nothing I hold against him personally, but this is simple graft and hijacking of Obama's presidential authority whether we like him or not.

States needing arms sales approval from US weapons manufactures donate to the Clinton Foundation, who pay Sidney Blumenthal a salary so he can be the defacto state department official that Obama would not approve.

I don't care if it is legal. It is not the way I want my government working no matter who is in charge. If this is legal then I want the law changed. I don't want to hear Tu Quoque or screeching about how nobody has been convicted yet so it is okay.

It is not okay.

This is... wtf worthy. There's a reason why devices that can communicate on non-encrypted networks aren't (generally) allowed in a SCIF...

Sorry, I might have missed this and I legitimately don't know the answer. Why can't she access her "cowboy server" while using a SCIF desktop? I'm not familiar. Are they only able to use a secured network?
 
It appears that Hillary repeatedly asked for a BB with the same encryption as Obama's but was told no. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind that would be, but word is that the NSA told her to "shut up and color" when she asked. Despite Rice having BB's for her and her staff during her tenure at SoS. This makes no sense to me. Why wouldn't the SoS be given a secure BB if she asked for one?
