There is (I think) a difference between what is possible when one is terminally desperate and what is advisable when one is not. Remember that the goal in the gulags was not to starve to death at the very moment. Little thought was likely given to long term goals of health and happiness.

Aside from that, I would have thought that even to the blindingly ignorant denialist of all that is reasonable, worms and reindeer skin underpants are not quite the same thing!

I hope not, because I found a mouse in my kitchen. I don't expect it to die from eating my food, except from eating the piece of peanut butter which I have used to bait a trap. But it has not visited the trap yet.

Those “Healthy humans” will become “ill people” in this case.

You don’t need salt.
You need sodium and potassium ions.
Many different food has them without salt that is very bad or health.

To use the word “Jadahit” from Tanah instead the word «Ivrit” – Hebrew is much more correct.
