If Rumsfeld's 2.3 Trill was significant to you....Congressman Grayson's pursuit of a (9 Trillion) money trail may be of interest...

Apparently the 9 Trillion figure represents a combination of items, including "...the Fed expanding its balance sheet by one trillion..."
Rep. Alan Grayson questions the FED Inspector General Elizabeth Coleman where $9 Trillion dollars went.

She hasn't a clue...(maybe she is not "in the loop")

Has anyone looked at the question posed from a slightly different perspective? What if the universe is quite literally teaming with life, and we aren't seeing it because we are looking at it from the perspective of what we have been taught. Civilizations come and go, who's to say we are the first civilization on this planet. That is powerful information. Has anyone studied the ancients? I am new so you all might already know this. But there is now proof of highly advanced civilizations that have lived and died long before we arrived. It would seem the ancient Egyptians had access to clean, renewable abundant energy's. Hieroglyphs have been found showing machinery similar to ours. A helicopter being one of them.

Please point out the actual book-keeping that the US Dept of Defence has anywhere close to 2.3 Trillion unaccounted for.

Politicians using hyperbole to show a need for better tracking of ongoing transactions is not book-keeping. The US annual budgets are public documents - show your work.

You aren't paying attention - the available information clearly indicates that I am not a US citizen. The Canadian federal governments debt is presently $1.1 Trillion CAD, or about 55% of our GDP (source)

The official US debt as of this date is $18.6 Trillion of which about $5 Trillion is actually held by the US government. (source). This does represent more than the GDP of the USA and is probably a good indication that they probably should consider dropping some of their more discretionary expenses, like waging several wars at the same time and spending more on their military than the next several nations combined.

America and solvency are two terms that don't fit the same sentence but as long as there are people like you who deny the facts , I feel sure you can last a few more weeks before the Chinese point out that you have not been wearing any clothes for some considerable time .

The Chinese seem to be catching up to the rest of us when it comes to public debt faster than you might think and are wearing less than some people would have you believe. At present their debt represents 65.08% of the PRC's GDP. (source)

I guess we live in alternative universes though I do understand the view that argues for "sugar and spice and all things nice " , if the hang man is just around the corner .

Apart from the lack of archaeological evidence, I think the best evidence that we are the first civilisation on the planet is the fact that all that fossil fuel was still sitting there. Any previous civilisation would surely have used up at least the easily accessible coal.

That is certainly news to me, even though I'm interested in archaeology and follow such stories. I'm sure I'd have heard about such discoveries. What is your source for these claims?

Egyptian helicopters and other advanced technology claptrap has been around for ages.

The Temple of Seti I is what is possibly being referred to and he probably saw it on some History Channel nonsense or from some daft site that was forwarding said fart-sandwichitudes.

Obviously I'm aware there's a fair amount of codswallop out there (though I hadn't actually come across the helicopter one before), the point I was trying to make was that if there were credible sources of such claims they would be headline news, not tucked away on obscure cable channels and crank web sites.

Short answer no

The most commonly used images have been photo shopped to look more 'alien' and like machinery. They are not, the oddities are the result of an earlier carving being covered by another and that later one eroding partially away.

An important aspect of this is this panel is not by itself but a temple with lots of other writing. Taking the panel out of context makes it look more 'odd' than it actually is.
