The Theory of Relativity will begin to fall apart in 2016/2017

It’s all about proportional transformation, if you walk up the stairs, you walk towards a direction with less space / ether tension, and this is why you need force to do so.
Furthermore on your way upwards your mass is gradually increasing

So I will have more mass as I move or at the top of the stairs?

It is the level of tension of steched space that keeps you feet on the ground
It is the level of inconsistent fantasy that make your idea bad, Bjarne.
One moment it is "space / ether tension" word salad.
The next it is "tension of steched space" gibberish.

Interesting! I thought it was the momentum gradient of the earth's energy/quantum pushing on the magnetic moment of photons being squeezed by the curl of gravitons.

Only a empty word, showing yopu don't know what you are talking about
More like spell checking changing the meaning of a sentence as anyone who knows about physics would suspect Bjarne :p.
The probably correct post:
No, I can't. I can feel that I am storing positional potential energy.

Hans
Your "feel the tension of the elastic ether" gibberish means nothing.
The gain in gravitational potential energy itself cannot be felt by climbing a few flights of stairs. The work done to gain that gravitational potential energy can certainly be felt!

We'll know that when Bjarne give us the maths. I can't imagine the maths being very complicated for the simple relationship between distance (or speed) and ether-resistance, but we'll know soon enough, I'm sure.

That’s correct, and when falling down the stairs you will lose this relatevistic mass again (it will be converted to kinetic energy etc)..
Energy = mass, - so where you have energy increase, regardless whether it is so called potential, - you have mass increase too.
This leads at least me to the speculation whether it is the relativistic mass that exerts the extra pull in space, and only this part that disturb the space tension balance at a given point, and therefore only the relativistic part that pull you back to ground
If you can find a technic to eliminated the relativistic achieved mass/energy, - you will be weightless, and if you can find a technic to reduce even more, you will be repelled and have invented a anti-gravity technic.

Call it what you want, for exsample Gunnar

He could possibly give you mats, but not maths, maths is out of the question.

Space is not a big nothing.
100 years ago people was not so naive like nowadays.
The elastic ether must be reintroduced, when it soon become clear that there were no reason to reject it.
At the same time it will be clear that the mistake "only" was caused by failing understanding how comprehensive this aspect of nature really is, because it is the most fundamental aspect of nature, - it’s the nature of space as well the nature of gravity, and even much more, - it’s the fundamental nature of what matter is made of.
SR in its present version will one day be understood as one of the biggest brainwashed failure in human history, even so brainwashed that the human race gave up common sense

The tension of space can reach such critical level that matter cannot exist, - it’s a piece of cake to keep your feet at the ground. Don’t underestimate the elastic power of space. Whether you prefer to call it curvature, elastic, ether or Gunnar, it’s all up to you. Space doesn’t care (off course maybe only except the space you are made of)
