Simple question. If you had speech transcripts that your opponent wanted, and you knew that releasing them would show them to be perfectly benign, but that they would be create a distraction as your enemies pawed over them to take anything they could out of context to attack you with, meaning you'd have to defend it every time they cherry picked or misquoted you for their own advantage. Would you willingly release them if you had no legal obligation to do so?

Sanders isn't exactly jumping on the bandwagon releasing his Martha's Vineyard campaign donor speeches either.

It's no wonder you don't hear a Sanders campaign push for Clinton to release those transcripts.

I think her answer is entirely fair, if Sanders and anyone one else pushing for release will release theirs as well, then she's release hers at the same time. Quite fair.

Lolz, Hillary got 650k and refuses to release them

That tells me they are anything but benign.

Cool excuses tho, I am sure that Hillary took 650k from Goldman Sachs for innocent reasons. Hillary 2016, yay.

That can be true, but in this particular case I think her refusal to do so is actually going to hurt her more.

And Donald Trump was paid $1.5 million per speech at The Learning Annex’s Real Estate Wealth Expos in 2006 and 2007. In total he gave 17 speeches, that's $26.5 million for his speeches.

A lot of men with her background are commanding far more then she is.

BTW, here is one of her infamous speeches that isn't being released. You'll be able to see just how terrible her evil is as she discuses with them how to hide income from taxes and how she's going to look after them as President.... oh, actually, no, she is telling them how to get more women in business. Highly evil that.

No, because their content was not important either to me, to Hillary, or to Goldman Sachs. She could release them tomorrow and I would yawn. You will note that I have not even brought this up until SG tried to turn the tables so ineptly.

What was important was the obligation being given a grant like that creates.

I bet that Sanders has not made 650k from giving speeches in his whole life, let alone to Wall Street

I do enjoy how the Hillary campaign releases one and the Shillaries fall all over themselves.

The campaign counts on her fans being gullible.

I watched it. It is not one of her paid speeches to Goldman Sachs. It is a 10 minute speech at a joint Clinton Global Initiative - Goldman Sachs conference on funding women entrepreneurs. Please do your homework next time.
