Thank you, 666. I was thinking of an analogy with (electromagnetic) short wave propagation, between the surface of the Earth and the ionosphere. Short waves propagating within the Earth (the crust, the mantle or the core of iron and nickel) would probably get quickly absorbed, I suppose, because of finite conductivity effects. These appear to be Great Circle distances around the earth's surface. Have you considered the possibility that your telepathic powers operate in a direct line through the earth? Or it may be that neither option is correct; the earth's core may have an as-yet-unknown affect. I look forward to seeing your peer-reviewed results.
Still sounds like bollocks

I would like now to briefly present to you the results of this latest test. Two members of this forum gave answers equal to 1, 2, 3 or 4, namely:Hi, I invite you to participate in a simple telepathy test.
At about 5:00 p.m. on this Tuesday January 12 (Brussels, Belgium time), I wrote carefully one of the four numbers: "1", "2", "3", "4" on my sheet of paper, and I surrounded it with a circle. Then, I wrote it again twice.
I shall repeat this number (which was obtained using a random number generator) from time to time during this test and I ask you to write it here (if you think you know it, even with a doubt). You may also answer "I don't know". It might perhaps be useful also that you say how confident you are in your answer.
...
Thank you for participating.
I'll play.

Thank you again for your answers, Cynical and cullen.3
Do I get a prize?
Here, one sees the association of humor and a certain kindness with an answer close to the actual target, a typical phenomenon in my tests.I'm getting an i, but it could just be imaginary.
Not too bad, WolrabI keep seeing the square root of -1.

I began hearing "voices in my head" in 1994 and, since then, I have talked about this phenomenon with physicians several times (either psychiatrists or general practitioners, also a neurologist). I have also been hospitalized in a mental health unit, in 1995. But I am afraid psychiatrists cannot help me a great deal, because I think I am a victim of mainly telepathic phenomena.
I would like to suggest that some of you direct a little more skepticism to the mysterious "schizophrenic voices in head", and perhaps a little less to telepathy.
A discussion about the true nature of voices is here: h ttp://hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=418488&f=49 (please remove blank space between "h" and "t" in URL). Skeptical views on schizophrenia are presented here: h ttp://antipsychiatry.org/schizoph.htm and here: h ttp://metzelf.info/Book%20Reviews/schizophrenia.html (please remove blank spaces from URLs, the last web address is a book review).

I was writing about the "voices in my head", but by no means telling I was schizophrenic (in fact, rather the opposite, I was already thinking then the voices were of a telepathic nature). I don't mind speaking of my "symptoms" from time to time, they explain my motivation for doing these tests. I can always hope that people will say to themselves: "Come on, this guy is sometimes in a state of suffering, we should try to help him, instead of urging to not participate in the test, to viciously let him down when he has so much trouble".You yourself are the one to have brought up mental illness (schizophrenia) in relation to your telepathy claim on 19th of june 2012:

Now, if some of you want to mention that I hear hostile voices in my head, I don't object to that. But, if you want to constantly repeat nastily that I am a schizophrenic that refuses to take his medications, and it is better to not participate in these tests because they encourage false ideas, delusions, I object to that, I feel this is complicity in the crime of which I feel I am a victim.
I was briefly (for a few days) hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital because of a physical problem. But, when I explained all the voices in my head, they decided to put me in a mental health unit. There, they tried to convince me to take their psychiatric medications, but I refused (such medications had already damaged my brain before (epilepsy)). I believe psychiatrists are simply incompetent to take care of my telepathy problems. Society does not want to admit my (hypothetical) telepathy because describing me as a mentally ill who must be medicated is more fun and enjoyable, because it helps people feeling important (they like that), and because it is more humiliating for me (they like that to). Admitting that I am telepathic might perhaps make me seem "a little important" in the eyes of some, they hate that terribly much. Why were you hospitalized in a mental health unit, in 1995?

I said I heard these voices in my head, and they tried to convince me to take a neuroleptic, called bromperidol. I don't, however, remember them saying at any point I was a schizophrenic (but I might have forgotten).Hilite by Daylightstar
On the basis of what diagnosis?
