Fox decides beheading Bernie is a laughing matter

You are calling Fox News evil for laughing at what is widely considered the laughingstock of the Democratic/Socialist party?

Why not just stick to the racism angle. Everything is racism.

Liberals are having a bad week

How? What has gone badly for Democrats this week?

It's been a bad decade so far for the Republicans, they're guaranteed to lose the next election, trying to decide between a guy who thinks that the President was born in Africa and a guy who thinks prison makes you gay.

Obama's international policy has been a proven failure

He set a red line, moved us out of iraq this led to ISIS's rise.

Obama calls the terror attack a setback, the French president calls it an act of war. Obama is a clown and so are the Democrats that follow this loser

The commentators were mocking the connection Sanders made between Climate Change and current events, which involve ISIS and frankly I have to agree that a specific link to that particular group is testing the limits of reality if he in any way was suggesting that much. The joke takes the comparison to an extreme so it's not like criticism is unwarranted, but I'm not so sure it's the most controversial exchange on the planet.

It's a ridiculous complaint (from Travis) anyway, as the joke relies on Bernie's beheading being recognized as a horrible, serious, barbaric thing. I.e. "This horrible barbarism is being committed to him and he'd still be going on about his idée fixe."

What gets my goat is more along the lines that they're trying to use the Paris attacks as a political tool in a completely inappropriate manner all around. Jokes don't bother me that much, even when they're a bit off-color.

"Terrorists attack France" does not mean "find some way to attack the President" or "fear outsiders". They also like to conveniently ignore the fact that the majority (and arguably the most dangerous) of the attackers were French citizens on the refugee thing.

Fox News continues to be obtuse and evil. On their Fox Business subsidiary Stewart Varney and Fox pundit Mark Steyn decided that Bernie Sanders talking about climate change being a larger threat than Islamic terrorism was a starting point for a dark joke.

They really don't seem to get why Bernie said what he did. They act like someone can't think terrorism is awful while still, rightly, pointing out that climate change is a way bigger threat. That they would laugh while talking about him being beheaded is just.....chilling.

Radically partisanship is tearing this country apart. It comes from both sides of the fence. For every tit there is a tat, and the beat goes on and on and on and on Ad nauseam. I'm sure I'm not the first to say this, but both parties are not part of the problem, they are the problem. Where did the civility go in this country? Here's a perfect example of how things used to be back when journalism was real as opposed to infotainment journalism.

The Left hates Bill O'reilly, guess what, the Right hates Rachel MadSow, a smarmy, smirking and condescending pundit just like her arch nemesis, you know who. Both are each others' evil twins. And there's Keith Doberman...'nuff said. Wait, I forgot to mention Hannity. There you go, I named two from each side and there's plenty more waiting in both lines.

I will say that the Right conducts itself much more politely than the Left. Just look at the college campus 'shoutdowns', pretty much all done by the coddled and pampered faux liberal fascists even to the point of trying to shoutdown a forum on free speech.

Here's a good counter point to your statement: http://www.mymustardseeds.com/lefts-anger.html

Wait, I can hear it now, "OMG, the myMustardseeds as a source, you've got to be kidding!"

As a voice of reason once said, "Can't we just all get along?"

America, wake up and smell the sewage before you drown in it!

Can't be surprised to see the Republicans avoiding the actual issue in favor of "humor" or attacking the OP.
Indeed.
Ironically, socialism of Bernie is a far bigger danger, still, as the slowing down of technological advancement due to the ponderous weight of growing, well-intentioned government, duplicates more and more in effect the weight of dictatorships and repressive regimes.

This will massively outweigh compensatory adaptations to GW.

Better risen seas in 100 years than not risen seas and tech 50 years behind. And no, you cannot have it all. Not that way.
I assume you'll be providing supporting evidence for your claim?

But using the Paris attacks to promote a "climate change" agenda? Totally appropriate.

Politics is messy business. If you get upset every time that someone uses a tragedy to push their agenda, you're going to spend all your time in a tizzy.

An interesting thread. Conservatives are trying to head off criticism, and liberals are engaging in head off criticism.

Whats the point in whining about Fox News? If you don't like them, ignore them. You empower them by letting them get into your head with their idiocy.

Because too many people DON'T "ignore them." If the lies, half-truths, etc aren't pointed out, then Fox is getting away with lying.

It's almost inescapable. I go to restaurants and there it is on the TV's. If you ask to watch something else there is always one guy that starts screaming that he'll leave and never come back if we put on "Liberal indoctrination" channels for even a minute. Then in the barber shop it is the same deal. And in the senior center. Even in the gym where, at one time, multiple channels would be on until, again, someone complained they'd boycott unless it was all Fox News all the time.

Everywhere it is seemingly omnipresent. And always there is that one guy that screams if you ask to watch anything else. I swear it has become a kind of cult worship idol.

:eye-poppi You need a better class of restaurant.

In other places, tell them to flip over to ESPN, and if anyone gives you any guff, call them a pansy and give them a noogie.

So what are we supposed to be outraged about, exactly? That fox pushes an agenda or that they made a dark joke? Both?

In order:
1) Of course they do. Correct the misinformation or slanted information is necessary
2) Humor is great. I don't care if it upsets the overly sensitive.

I think it has been said before that it says more about where you live.
