Hillary Clinton is Done

Let's see, support the constituents in the state you represent?

Or invade a country that had nothing to do with it and totally screw up the aftermath to boot?

:eusa_think:

She voted to do both things. When the American People had been protesting against a war in Iraq for over a year, she voted "Yea" on the war powers resolution. Senator Sanders voted against it.

She voted for the PATRIOT act which has been used to destroy the liberty and privacy of Americans. Senator Sanders voted "Nay".

Sorry, vote or no vote the only people responsible for the Iraq debacle were in the Bush admin. There was also the total disaster that followed which the Congress had nothing to do with.

Clinton is not the devil incarnate that some people are making her out to be.

Never could have been done to us without Quislings like Clinton. Nice try to deflect the shame and blame she shares every bit of.

I was actively protesting that war. In the streets. From the time the sabers started rattling. I knew what was going to happen if we did this, and was 100% right. If I could see this coming, how is it that Senator Quisling Clinton could not? With all her foreign policy wonkiness?

How are the Swift Boat Veterans going to work their miracle this time? I mean, Hillary does not exactly have a war record. She might have fired some hero?

The Right has been planning their attacks on Hillary since 1994. It will be very, very ugly.

well, maybe they could have if the damn Marines had let her in like she really, really, really lied aboutwanted.

Or maybe they will question her bravery while landing under sniper fire? Pew pew pew!

I have no idea what type of teflon or rancid goat fat HRC is coated with, but she is responsible for no decision she has ever made and no lie she has ever told.

I read the article in the Post. I don't disagree with much of it. I'm not getting moist with excitement that Billary (or Barack for that matter) are getting called on their cozy relationships with Wall Street and the banking industry, though, because I still think that Hillary Clinton, even a tad roughed up and pushed further to her left than she may have thought she'd be, is the candidate to mercilessly stomp the GOP in '16. That's my goal. If Hillary's the standard bearer with the best chance to do so, I'm going to support her.

The goal is to stop the Republican Party. Period. But, as I've said before, I'm not a fan of neo-con Democrats. My candidate (W.E.B. DuBois) isn't running. I'll support Bernie as the longer he stays alive, the more he re-introduces populist progressive themes. But when push comes to shove, I'm going to help the Dems carry Tucson, even if they don't carry the state (that won't happen for another three or four presidential elections) because the New Republican Party is mean.... in several definitions of mean.

Have you seen all the polls showing that it's Sanders who would stomp the Republicans in the general, not Clinton?

For example:

This is complete horse crap, Ginger, and you must know it. It was a disastrous "regime change" operation, and every single elected rep or senator who voted for it owns some of the blame.

I agree that she's not "the devil incarnate", but she's not actually very good at understanding geopolitics and geostrategy.

Hardly relevant at this stage.

Take your pick, the demonizing of Clinton or the demonizing of socialism. Clearly the GOP will happily attack either candidate.

Socialism is a VERY easy sell. And we are selling it.

HRC is a very difficult sell, and I will not even waste my time trying if she is nominated. I will instead work on my friend's campaigns and hope they get elected to counter the GOP Presidency we are about to have.

And yet, Clinton is well ahead of Sanders.

Literally back to back posts. Polls where Hillary shows poorly are "hardly relevant." Polls favorable to Hillary? Yeah, that is the ticket.

There's little differentiation made between Hillary's brand of "socialism" and Bernies', as far as the GOP is concerned; however the latter makes himself an easy target for those claims and is by far "lefter" than Obama to the point of nearly making him look like a right wing nut job by comparison.

plus, if Hillary wins the primary, she is going to make a sudden right turn that is so extreme she'll be bragging about taking Wall Street's money rather than blaming it on 9/11. You don't really believe that ******** about her going after wall street do you?

Polls are simply not reliable until the General Election. I can throw a Yi King and come up with as accurate an answer;

Fire illuminates the base of the Mountain:
The Superior Person realizes he has not the wisdom to move the course of the world, except by attending to each day's affairs as they come.

Success in small matters.
This is a good time to begin something.
