Hillary Clinton is Done

My apologies Doctor 16.5.

No problem, lets not kid ourselves, she is no spring chicken, and those years spent obsessively fulminating about the "vast right wing conspiracy" have put a ton of hard miles on her.

Lets just say the perspicuous viewers were able to discern that her stumble on the steps was actually indicative of the stumbles that she and her campaigns have made over the years.

Sadly, the technique only works when the patient is introducing the musical guest on a sketch comedy show. I suppose that means that Steve Martin will never need to pay for a CAT scan.

Boom Headshot!

(Wait, is this the wrong thread?)

You probably want the Benghazi thread, where we discussed Ms. Clinton's fall during which she struck her head causing her to be unable to appear for her scheduled testimony.

I think we're being to hard on 16.5. After all, falling on SNL caused Chevy Chase to suffer back injuries that have lasted a lifetime. And some of those falls took place while he was playing the President!

She was on SNL and then a "Town Hall" this morning on the Today Show. Will NBC be giving fair and equal time to all the other candidates?

I'm sure SNL would welcome any Presidential candidate that wanted to make an appearance. They had both candidates in 2008, including 2 appearances by McCain and 1 by Palin. They had neither candidate 2012. They've never had a sitting President. GHWB appeared by video in 1994.

The first sitting President to appear on an entertainment tv show of any kind was Republican Richard Nixon, who said four words on Laugh In.

You FAIL at zoology, spectacularly! So you just can't wrap your tiny gray matters argument around the fact that there are non conservatives, left leaning people, who can't stand HRC? You might want to see someone about that, maybe a whole team. Did you have the same affliction in 2008?

FEEL the BERN!

You mean you are unable to wrap your head around the notion that the other 95.5% of humanity is not american and cares not a whit about Hillary?

You really don't get that?

Nixon wasn't President then; the appearance was in June 1968, four or so months before the election.

The greatest Laugh-In cameo that never was; Elvis Presley wanted to do the tricycle-riding bit at the end of the show, in full costume. He planned to fall over and have the camera zoom in to show that it was really him. Colonel Parker wouldn't let him do it. Damn shame, that.

Where the hell did that come from? Had nothing to do with my post!
Calmate guey!

I still can't find a video of the clip*. Was it an older episode?

*Note, if 16.5 posted a link I wouldn't have seen it.

Pretty much Trump, Bernie and Jeb! have already had more time on NBC than Clinton. Sarah Palin and GW Bush had quite a bit of time on SNL I believe.

Clinton played the sax on TV long before the others (after Nixon).
As a candidate, not as President. But I remember his campaign being groundbreaking for its reach out into entertainment media. He also had a town hall meeting on Mtv.
