Just kidding, he totally supported them.
In January 2005, Governor Jeb Bush, the President's brother and Florida chairman for his 2004 campaign,[107] sent a letter to SBVT member and former POW Bud Day, thanking him for his "personal support of my brother in his re-election." In addition, Governor Bush said of the SBVT:

As someone who truly understands the risk of standing up for something, I simply cannot express in words how much I value their willingness to stand up against John Kerry.[68][108]

How likely will the slimy treatment of John Kerry, Max Cleland and other veterans during the Bush administration by their proxies, and the media (along with the tacit approval by almost all members of the Republican party), be brought up during the current kerfuffle? Jake Tapper at CNN dipped into it, but I find it unlikely the consequences will fit the crime.

LOL! John Kerry is a war hero now? Let's remember what his hagiographer, Douglas Brinkley said back in 2004:

"Every American now knows that there's something really screwy about George Bush and the National Guard, and they know that John Kerry was not the war hero we thought he was," said Douglas Brinkley, the historian and author of a friendly biography of Mr. Kerry's war years, acknowledging that Mr. Kerry's opponents had succeeded in raising questions about his service.

As for Bud Day, he was a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient and the only man ever to receive that award and the Air Force Cross. He was a legitimate hero, not a tin soldier like Jean Fraude Kerry. Good for Jeb Bush for recognizing that.

Ok, Jeb Bush the Swift Boat Veterans for "Truth", and Brainster.

Since when do Conservatives let facts interfere with a good smear campaign?

you think that they would bother bringing up a blatant tu quoque fallacy like the one you just proffered?

I'm going to go with no.

Wait...what? How does tu quoque even work when the same person is being discussed both time?
