To recap
You tell us there was a silenced rifle present which was fired, but didn't hit anybody.
No, the 223 shot obviously hit Connally and JFK.
You're tripling down on a sound-of-gunshot theory for a crime committed in an area where the echo is bad enough to make even non-CT testimony of sound inadmissible.
The HSCA people who tested the rifle in DP, had no problem differentiating between rifle shots and echoes.
And if the DP witnesses were fooled by echoes then why did most of them only report a single, early shot?
Do you really think demeaning speech is a good way to discuss these issues? I speak to you respectfully. I think you can do the same.
about the Dal-Tex building no being searched even though it might have been, at least in part in the hour after the assassination as DPD officers canvased the area. The problem is the shots all came from the 6th Floor of the TSBDP, witnesses saw the barrel of the rifle and sent the police into the building.
That is a rather blatant example of begging the question.
You need to earn the right to declare that Oswald fired all the shots. To do that, you can start by explaining why most witnesses only heard one of the 130 decibel, high powered rifle shots then and why none of them provoked the kind of reactions we see following 285 and 313.
And the fact that witnesses saw a sniper in that 6th floor window, only means that the man there was one of the snipers.
If you could produce a silenced rifle, or a custom made silencer, or commercially available silencer from 1963, or perhaps KGB or CIA custom weapons from the day you would have so much more traceable information to work with.
I wish I could, but consider the last several hundred terrorist assassinations or attacks in which none of them were wounded. How many left their rifles behind?
These things would have only been made by a small group of people, and would have been used by a smaller group of people. This would set the foundation for a plausible line on inquiry. You just assume a silenced weapon was present without any solid grounds to do so.
If you were a hit man in the mafia, would you want a suppressed weapon in your arsenal?
As for "solid ground", I don't know how much solider it could get, than that at least one of the early shots was heard by no one or almost no one.
Think about the Connallys. Nellie heard one shot and then looked back at JFK circa 258. She heard a second shot, some time after that, which she believed, wounded her husband. Obviously, she never heard 223.
Now consider her husband. He heard one shot and then only
FELT the second one. He also never heard 223.
Greer heard ONE shot and then closely bunched shots at the end.
Kellerman heard one shot and then a flurry at the end.
Jackie requires some rather complex explanation, but I can show you that she heard the same thing the others did.
And they heard pretty much the same thing that the other DP witnesses heard.
The 223 shot was inaudible or close enough that it was silent to most people.
Just to throw this in, why have a second shooter present armed with a rifle that wasn't going to hit anything?
It did. The 223 shot obviously hit JFK and probably Connally.
Nobody has presented an example of the Mob killing someone with a rifle at range. They usually conduct their hits face-to-face.
Perhaps, but humans are adaptable. They did what they needed to do under the circumstances.
Why kill a President when you could blackmail him? There's no money in dead bodies.
Marcello wasn't after money. He hated the Kennedys probably more than anyone on Earth, after Bobby relentlessly hounded him and had him dragged him out of his house in the middle of the night, then flown to Guatemala, dumping him in the jungle with not much more than the shirt on his back.
And Marcello was the butt of Bobby's joke, because he had falsely stated on his immigration papers that his home country was Guatemala. Of course Bobby knew that as well as he did.
Marcello was heard to have sworn to murder JFK (not Bobby). I'm sure you are familiar with his alleged comments about killing the dog and the tail will die. He confessed to ordering that crime to an FBI informant as well as mafia attorney, Frank Ragano.
