Both John Kercher in his book, as well as Barbie Nadeau in her book said exactly this - that this is what Mignini told them. They could be right, they could be wrong, they could have misheard.....

.... but it is not correct to say that "nobody has said."

All I could find was Mignini, representing the Italian state and Mez, telling John Kercher he believed "Knox was insanely jealous of Mez."

Page no. please, in the Kercher book, where you claim he discussed devil worship.

... I recall reading that breaches of the 90-day deadline are common, but does anyone know how long the delays are typically? Not that anything "typical" has ever offered a guide in this case ...

It can sometimes take years. Keep watching this space.

The footprints found were strangely one-legged. The tecs have to puzzle out why. A masonic ritual (based on ancient Egyptian beelzebub/basphamet worship) involves one foot.

Why shouldn't detectives consider all of these possible explanations?

I have known third degree grandmaster masons and satanists (who thought it fun to prance around Highgate Cemetery at night). In the days of the Beatles' Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club they even had satanist Aleister Crowley on the cover. Lots of people lived by Crowley's adage, "Do thou what thy willst", as rebellion against "the Establishment".

Are you claiming masons and satanists do not exist?

What is your problem with cops investigating this angle?

You're absolutely right. Satanic orgy angle and witchcraft should always have a priority in any investigation.

It is especially important to catch the witch before all the masons manage to distort the investigation with their stupid sciency stuff like dactyloscopy results.

Anyway, I just drop in here from time to time to see if there's any news to be related, not to address easily refutable nonsense peddled by Vixen, which I'm sure clutters up every page. To get to my real point: how long a delay can we expect on the motivations report? I recall reading that breaches of the 90-day deadline are common, but does anyone know how long the delays are typically? Not that anything "typical" has ever offered a guide in this case ...

Well, I believe the 90 day window in this case would put it at June 25 for the motivation report to be released.

I don't know how usual it is to have delayed releases in motivation reports.

This is nonsense. We have our Sabbat in relation to the lunar cycle, and the Solar cycle. The latter e.g. the solstice is more of interest to neo pagans and white witches, depending on what we want to cast usually the full moon or no moon are best. Anyway Thursday is late night shopping so really inconvenient time to hold a Sabbat.

Planigale, can I ask you whether 1/2 Nov 2007 was some kind of Belthane for pagans? (Autumn equinox.)

Perhaps only one foot stood in the blood and made footprints.

I know that idea may be way out there but I am not a detective.

On the other hand, one could think that maybe someone bothered to clean the crime scene of everything except the one legged footprints, dna and fingerprints of one person, all without leaving a trace of anything being cleaned.

You are the only one claiming Amanda is a witch. Please substantiate your straw man this has any bearing.

+1, except my understanding is that the case was never refiled, it was simply allowed to lapse, and then formally discarded when the statute of limitations had run out.

That may be -- my only point was that the case was (supposedly) filed in the wrong court and was subsequently dismissed before it was tried a 2nd time on its merits.

So claims the NY hack. I could not see anything in Mignini's closing submissions that said anything of the kind. What he did say was Raff had a manga comic that appeared to mirror the scene found. As the manga story happens at halloween, he reasons it might have been late because of the above circumstances.

Seems a fair enough deduction to me.

I'm glad you're not a cop. What does Manga have to do with All Saints Day? This is an example of insanity of thought that is pervasive among guilters,

From Wikipedia:
In Japan, people of all ages read manga. The medium includes works in a broad range of genres: action-adventure, romance, sports and games, historical drama, comedy, science fiction and fantasy, mystery, suspense, detective, horror, sexuality, and business/commerce, among others. Although this form of entertainment originated in Japan, many manga are translated into other languages, mainly English.[3] Since the 1950s, manga has steadily become a major part of the Japanese publishing industry,[4] representing a ¥406 billion market in Japan in 2007 (approximately $3.6 billion) and ¥420 billion ($5.5 billion) in 2009.[5] Manga have also gained a significant worldwide audience.[6] In Europe and the Middle East the market is worth $250 million.[7] In 2008, in the U.S. and Canada, the manga market was valued at $175 million. The markets in France and the United States are about the same size. Manga stories are typically printed in black-and-white,[8] although some full-color manga exist (e.g. Colorful). In Japan, manga are usually serialized in large manga magazines, often containing many stories, each presented in a single episode to be continued in the next issue. If the series is successful, collected chapters may be republished in tankōbon volumes, frequently but not exclusively, paperback books.[9] A manga artist (mangaka in Japanese) typically works with a few assistants in a small studio and is associated with a creative editor from a commercial publishing company.[10] If a manga series is popular enough, it may be animated after or even during its run.[11] Sometimes manga are drawn centering on previously existing live-action or animated films.[12]

Beltaine (May 5 this year) is a spring fertility festival. Samhain is the autumn festival falling between the Autumn equinox and Midwinter solstice - November 7. Halloween is all hallows eve - a christian festival.

There are lots of sects. Dianatic witches are moon focussed, but co incidence of the lunar cycles and solar cycles are important. Resolving the Turing-Dee equations with respect to gravitational fields explains why the same face of the moon is always turned to the earth, and predicts the best time for casting.

Astonishingly, exactly that accusation has been made in an Italian court this week by a lawyer called Carlo Pacelli. He used the occasion of an appeal by the American student Amanda Knox against her conviction for the murder of a British student to call her an "enchanting witch" and attack her in terms that would be instantly recognisable to a mediaeval witch-finder.

How many murders do you think happen from burglary? Vanishingly small. In fact here in England - and I read of a case in the US - it's been the householder shooting the burglar.

Nobody has said the Kercher murder was a satanic ritual. Nice try with your straw man.

Mignini originally did. But let's be truthful, the prosecution and the judges changed the motive more often than some people change their underwear.

Burglary murder is much more rare than many other types of murder, But it is vastly more common than ritual murder. There isnothing wrong with prosecuting anyone based on evidence. As for Knox and Sollecito, they had none. Nutjobs, every last one of them.

One of my old bosses was a grandmaster of the City of London, a square mile full of worshipful masonic lodges.

The problem people have is the secrecy and lack of transparency. Ethics being a huge buzzword these days.

It's quite wrong that Christians and Orthodox Jews cannot be part of this powerful network, based on nods, winks and silly handshakes.

Excuse me? The Masons do not prevent anyone of any religion to be a member. I know many Christians that are Masons. The issue is the other way around. Masons are not a religious organization but a service organization. It is a Fraternal order committed to helping a fellow man.

But they do have traditions and they do keep secrets.

And where did he Come up with that nonsense? That Amanda was jealous of Meredith? More nonsense.

No way around it - he was acquitted, you've just remarked on the process by which that happened.

The effect of time-barred charges is the same as an acquittal for innocence.

The Italian judicial authorities of course knew of the potential conflict of interest when they sent Mignini's trial to Florence where there were judges whom he had investigated/illegally wire-tapped.

The trick of letting time run out on prosecutions of those in power who are charged with crime is common in Italy, I believe. It also seems to be common in the other high-application number ECHR countries and other "developing democracies" within the Council of Europe States.
