This a layer in the upper atmosphere of Venus, 90 to 100 kilometers above the surface. You lied a bit by quote mining the article, B]Pixie of key[/B]:

The quote is misleading. What this research does is show that a couple of models of dark matter as particles that interact with each other does not match the colliding cluster observations.

Surprisingly, the study discovered that dark matters in galaxy cluster collisions simply pass through each other. This implies that dark matter particles do not interact with themselves, which would have caused dark matter to slow down. Instead, it appears that while dark matter could interact "non-gravitationally" with visible matter, this is not the case when it interacts with itself.

But dark matter is generally considered to be particles that do not interact with each other . The exceptions are papers that look at what they do if they self-interact.
One of the dangers of relying on news articles for science is that the reporters opinion sometimes gets injected!

This may be the stupidity of thinking that solar filaments are controlled by gravity. The reality is that they are plasma flowing along magnetic field lines. It is electromagnetism that is the primary force acting on them.
