Yes, you have claimed that in the past. The evidence, however, is lacking.

Why would they turn over a private server when they don't have to ?

Oh yes, because maybe there is evidence relating to monica lewinski vince foster clinton foundation huma benghazi on there ...
and how would we know until you prove there isn't any evidence there, amiright ?

Right on time: leave Hillary alone!

we should believe her when she says that she destroyed 30,000 emails that they were private.

Millions of dollars from Russia? Private!

Ok

So only people with cowboy servers can delete emails?

The argument of So.... try again please.

/just deleted an email! Oh wait, there it is... in my deleted folder....IT cleans up my deleted folder.... oh wait, there it is in the back ups.

... Gowdy's committee is still at the stage of gathering evidence.

:)
Maybe when they gathered all the Benghazi evidence they can start from the beginning of the Wikipedia list of attacks on US diplomatic facilities.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attacks_on_U.S._diplomatic_facilities

I think we need to get detailed investigations going on all of them before we can move on.

Maybe the chart from this article will help them focus on some of the most serious:
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/10/libya-consulate-embassy-attacks-obama-romney

They'll probably want to focus on the Bush I and Reagan years because that seems to be the period when the attacks were most common. And by focusing on these attacks it will help dispel the perception by some that the investigations of Benghazi by the Republicans are just sick partisan political stunts.

ETA: And the perception by some that this Republican interest in Clinton's email has nothing to do with any legitimate investigation of anything and is just routine Republican abuse of power for partisan political purposes.

wrong thread.

/It has been a while since someone has brought up that fallacy, tho. I usually suggest that they either start with the African Embassy bombings, or the myriad other attacks during the Obama administration.

Wait, you mean you intentionally tried to delete a private email? Oh the inhumanity, fortunately in your case it sounds like the world was saved and your private emails can now be subpoenaed by some random Republican committee trying to smear you so their guy can win the presidency. Of course, you may not be a prominent Democratic politician in which case you might be safe.

This is an ongoing investigation. There are developments virtually every day.

I posted two articles including new information that came out in the last six hours.
The email issue is a widely abused issue among politicians that requires change and enforcement of proper policy to change. If this investigation can reveal more than how much we've already known about politicians being politicians and the already known fact that Clinton is a sleaze ball politician, then I will surely get interested. Right now not so much. Why I keep calling this bloated, is exactly because instead of discussing ways to keep this from happening as often as it already does, we're focusing only on Hillary. Save that for the campaign when she tries to portray herself as a fresh face in politics, I assure you with this matter she won't be able to... I've never said "stop posting" updates or anything negative about talking about this in of itself... If you want to keep this going I see nothing wrong with it but I would prefer to be able to find solutions to the root cause of her case and stop it at the source if no evidence of criminal acts are found. IMO, it would be a rather intelligent idea for the committee to pursue... political reality though makes this "ideal" scenario unrealistic, probably even if the committee was pretty non-partisan..

Anyway... "currently" the outcome of the scandal... criminal or none has no bearing on my vote for her, because as I've said many times before I don't plan to vote for her.... not unless I'm desperately backed into a corner on my choices

Not surprised you completely missed the point.

Cool string of straw men, tho.

I get it, leave Hillary alone.... She is going to be president....

From the perspective of the law, there is a world of difference between deleting emails prior to being served with a subpoena (or more accurately, before anticipating being served with a subpoena) and doing so afterwards. That difference often involves sanctions up to and including time in jail.

The further difference is that there is a huge distinction between deleting an email (which remains accessible) and removing and email from a sever when it is under subpoena.

But there is now a legitimate reason that we will need to see every email you've ever written. Are you now, or have you ever been,..... under professional treatment for HDS? There might be proof in those deleted emails, and one of our taggers is going to need that proof to make his case. So you'll be submitting all your emails plus the authorization to your IP providers so that we can get to the bottom of this, right?

Now, if some of those emails happen to reveal your membership in the Donny Osmond fan club, I'm sure the honorable member from DaveFoc (our chair person,... totally non-partisan like Gowdy is) won't intentionally let those emails out; I mean they have nothing to do with the issue at hand and proving that you gave money to the Let's Snuff Spotted Owls is not in our purview. Trust us. It'll all be just fine.

And the great thing is, I'm in the same boat as 16.5 as far as my deleted emails goes, but you guys don't want to see any of mine. In fact, you folks aren't even concerned about mine. Why? Because we're on the same team!

It's almost like a partisan/team-based witch hunt. But it's not because reasons.

Ain't that weird, 16.5?

By the way (and this may have been addressed earlier in the thread and if so, kindly direct me to it), why haven't the recipients of all these emails come forward with their copies?

Surely somewhere out there someone would show an email from Teh Evul Hillaryz and blow this case wide open, if for no other reason than 15 minutes of fame on the talk show circuits.

Or are these "damning" emails just...not that damning?

Or perhaps they were made offers they couldn't refuse. Rumor has it that there have been a rash of incidents in the DC area of people finding horse's heads in their beds. In several cases involving younger women, Bill Clinton's head was in bed instead.

Actually there was a recent blog post about this very subject.

Why go on TV when you can blackmail a sitting President?

If Hillary Clinton’s emails were intercepted by the Russians or Chinese (or other governments with active cyber war programs), she would be subject to blackmail since her “missing” emails could well have embarrassing (or worse) details of the nature of both the donations to the Clinton Foundation and the extravagant speaking fees for Bill.

Actually given the massive money Bill and Hillary sucked out of Russia, they wouldn't even have to intercept her emails, just use the ones confirming the deals!:D

And maybe there's an email in there telling us what happened to Judge Crater!

But more importantly,.... Have you turned over your server information to the Davefoc Committee on Partisan Derangement Syndrome in Forum Threads? I'm sure you don't have anything in there to hide. And we don't know specifically what dates, subject matter or addresses we're interested in, but full disclosure and our right to rake muck for political purposes requires that you submit all of them. Not forever, just from 2006 to 2015.

We understand your desire for privacy, so we will release your emails for the general public to decide which are actually private. Spoliation and all that, doncha know!

Hillary Clinton is running for President of the United States, and it is difficult to imagine a more insipid argument than we should be concerned about 16.5's emails.

Coincidentally, we started this new firm at just about the same time that Hillary was setting up her cowboy server to run the State Department. My IT Department told me this morning that due to our document retention policies, they could recall every single email I ever sent off my email account. Hillary could have too, but she chose to intentionally delete those a few months ago.

I get the sense that people don't care, and that they are more concerned with 16.5's account.

Just think of the level of 16.5 Derangement Syndrome if I decided to run for President!
