You bet it is! The ECHR may yet make a landmark ruling in the case. The application is filed and there's nothing left for her to do to make it happen.
 
So:
Will the Kerchers have their closure?
Will Rudy finally come clean?
Will Maresca make any money off of this at all?
Will Mignini, Stefanini, et. all suffer any repremand?
Will this thread finally die down? :)
 
It will be extremely interesting to read the SC's full motivation report underneath this decision. I hope they will conclude not only that there never was any credible, reliable evidence against Knox or Sollecito, but also that it's entirely possible that Guede committed this horrific crime alone. After all, they will have to have addressed such things as the break-in evidence, so one can hope they concluded that the break-in was real (and that it was done by Guede).

I really really hope that the Kercher family can come to terms with the knowledge that neither Amanda Knox nor Raffaele Sollecito participated in the sex attack and murder or Meredith Kercher. I hope they can come to terms with the knowledge that Rudy Guede, acting alone, did this. And I hope that they come to understand that they were cruelly misled by Mignini, Comodi, Galati and, most of all, their own lawyer Maresca.

Oh and I hope Maresca will waive his gigantic fee.......

Ok, I didn't realise it was criminal.

Really happy about this decision.

Horrified by some of the Knox abuse on twitter though. :(

Definitely - the family have been put through years of extra pain as this farce has dragged out. I hope they can find peace with the verdict
