Sure it is - it's still a criminal conviction, and it still therefore has potential negative ramifications for her. She doesn't have to do a thing in terms of effort - her application to the ECHR is already lodged, and her lawyers will take things forward (under legal aid provided by the Council of Europe). She should follow it through to the end - she has nothing to lose by doing so and something to gain.
