Cruz steps into the ring...

At his speech at Liberty U, the students who live on campus were forced to go or face a $10 fine. How's that for freedom?

Cruz has the backing of one person he probably needs like another hole in his head.

In addition to being, in her opinion, ineligible for the presidency, Taitz also believes Obama forged his birth certificate and stole a dead man's Social Security number.

After inspecting Cruz's birth certificate, she said, "I did not see any evidence of fraud."
I think what she really means is that she doesn't see any evidence he is black.

This is pretty scary. I wonder if it was for real.
Quote:
Students will either attend convocation and lend to the illusion of widespread support for Sen. Cruz, or they will be subject to administrative punishment--specifically, four reprimands and a $10 fine--if they are absent.

I always hear this, especially from non-Americans, and when I ask what the benchmark is I never get a coherent or consistent answer.

It is easy. If you tell a member of that party he is a socialist or a communist, or has the same politic as a socialist or communist by name , does he punch you in anger ? Does he decry it as an insult ? Then he is most probably on the right or center. Like the democrats.

After that you can go into the detail and compare announced party politics bullet point by bullet point between socialist/communist/left in general. Usually by the point you come to privatization versus public take over of means of production, it should clear there is no left party in the US. Democrate have *some* tendencies but not the major one.
