Presidential Primaries 2016

Pointless question. There's an unlimited number of reasons why someone would not run for President.

But we're not talking about "someone". We're talking about Biden. Factors which might stop a lesser man (like the impossibility of winning) won't stop him.

....an assortment of correspondence sent to Hillary Clinton at the e-mail address ****@clintonemail.com. The “clintonemail.com” domain was registered in 2009, shortly after her nomination to become Secretary of State."

So she set up a domain after being nominated and did ALL of her official work there.

Wow.

"Records show it was registered on the day of her confirmation hearing in January 2009."

I notice that the spin machine she set up (mediamatters, i am looking at you) is claiming that turned over documents (not all mind you) when asked, and was apparently never asked which was why she turned over 55,000 documents after Congress asked where the hell they were a couple of months ago.

Speaking of which, it's pretty clear by now that Biden isn't going to run, right? When it comes to the first round of wholesale strike-throughs, he's on that list.

Biden has talked quite regularly about running. Self-deception is one of his many less-than-admirable traits.

ETA: As for the email flap, Hillary will come out smelling like the Rose Law Firm billing records. The media will fall all over themselves to claim it's ancient history, executive privilege, a Clinton would never hide something, you name it.

When was the last time Biden said anything about running? I was looking for tangible signs -- talking about it (within the last year), hiring consultants, popping up in Iowa ... that kind of thing.

Two weeks ago for both the first and last of your tangible signs:

Vice President Joe Biden is in no rush to decide whether he’ll run for president in 2016, telling reporters in Iowa today he’ll make up his mind “at the end of the summer.”

“That's a family personal decision that I'm going to make sometime at the end of the summer," Biden, who was on an official trip to the state, said during a classroom tour at the Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny.

Asked by a reporter if he’s holding any meetings about a 2016 campaign while in Iowa today, Biden noted he’s not engaging in any organizing for a presidential run on this trip.

Update, her spokesman claimed today that her emails to other government staffers would have been captured on their accounts. Gawker reports tonight that is false because at least two of her top staffers used the clinton emails.com addresses.

FoiA requests and subpoenas were not complied with because of Hillary's conduct.

She wants to be President, huh?

Yeah I'm usually more liberal leaning when it comes to US politics (as a non-American), but that's a bit of a doozy. If she could spin it as a honest mistake I think it would not be such a big issue but its unlikely that she will be able to do that.

Interesting times ahead...

I'm surprises you leftist don't realize the problem you're in, Hillary is all you have. Suppose all the history she has in politics, for example BENGHAZI!!! comes up again. What if she is proven to be the phony non-leader she is. Who else are you going to fall back on?

The repub field is large but, out of that the best will emerge.

I wanted to quote this again, obviously you libs haven't thought very deeply about what is going to happen to your leftist dreams once this corrupt lady and her family are holding all your hope. :)

Further, no mention on here about Bubba being on pedophile island with his pedophile pal Epstein. You libs have any outrage over that?

I think about it plenty. Corrupt may be too strong a term, but the point is well taken. I do not like having her in a position of supposed inevitability. I would prefer she faced competition from multiple strong and credible alternatives.

What is your definition of best? Most electable? Most capable? Best for the party? Best for the nation? Best for the world?

I feel compelled to ask because the current process can easily produce a victor that is none of those.

On the dem side I agree.

We could go back an administration or ten and find examples from both sides. The last two elections the only (R)s who stepped forth to be counted were unelectable. Had the GOP wanted to clean up after Dubya they could have put a decent politician forward instead of throwing a bone at McCain (who they have long tolerated with clenched teeth) or allowing comically bad players like Palin and Herman Cain airtime.

The Token Negro has cleaned up the mess as best he could despite congress dragging their feet the whole time, and the economy is recovering(ish) so the (D)s won't have an easy time. I expect the GOP to field actual politicians this time instead of rodeo clowns.

Awesome list hgc, your maintenance of it is deeply appreciated.

The best? As in out of a bag of rotten apples one of them is the best?

What if she's proven to be a great leader?

As I have repeatedly stated, I don't think she will be the nominee. Someone we aren't talking about too much will be. And the Republicans will have the same problem as in 2008. They geared up for Hilary and couldn't shift gears.

I wanted to quote this again, obviously you libs haven't thought very deeply about what is going to happen to your leftist dreams once this corrupt lady and her family are holding all your hope. :)
All our hope? No, there is another.

I have no idea what this is about. I guess you will blame the media for not covering a contrived issue.
