-- 100 Percent of Scientists now agree that Global Warming has Stopped or Slowed Down

-- This is in direct opposition to the IPCC’s contention that global warming is accelerating

-- Many people continue to Deny this .

.

Given up on even providing junk links to your junk claims, eh, Arnold?

AM ...you are in a sunset industry...it will be left in the ground.

I will be around for a while yet .... I have never met an environmentalist or Global Warming advocate who will travel to Northern Canada unless guys like me fly them in a helicopter , with heat turned up to maximum , while we burn 20 gallons of Kerosene per hour in a million dollar machine

Quite revealing to observe them .... they come dressed in designer winter gear , cute woolly mittens and hats .... then when they step out in the frozen tundra the first words out of their mouth is "this is friggin cold"

Not to mention the strange expressions on their face when they see thousands of Polar Bears happily cavorting on the ice or stuffing themselves with seals .... especially the "save the seals" Greenpeace folks .... they are suddenly bewildered to see beloved Polar Bears eating their beloved Seals ...... like I said , cute to watch confused people

Then when they are back south where it is warm and safe they do a bleeding heart article on the perils facing the Polar Bears .... and of course use that Al Gore picture of a solitary Bear on that little ice flow

Many of your educators are propaganda masters and you have yet to realize it.

But what science are you putting forward here?

Not agreed, logger - the evidence is that lately we do have control over climate change. 97% of climate scientists agree that AGW exists.
In fact anyone who can understand physics understands that we have caused the majority of global warming since 1850. The greenhouse effect is taught at high schools (higher CO2 = higher temperatures). CO2 has increased, We predict and measure high temperatures. This is the greenhouse effect.

.

100% of Climate Scientists also agree that extreme global warming has happened previous to 1850

..... or are we not allowed to mention that reality ?

.

We are not allowed to half lie by mentioning the that 100% of Climate Scientists also agree that global warming has happened previous to 1850 and missing out that
  • These events have little to do with the current Anthropogenic Global Warming, Arnold Martin :p!
  • Analysis of these events is evidence that we are the cause of the current global warming, e.g. we have done in a century what those events did in thousands of years, Arnold Martin.

This is the climate denier number 1 myth of ignoring the current real world where we are causing the global warming and thinking that past natural events that caused global warming are magically causing current AGW.
What does past climate change tell us about global warming?
Scientific analysis of past climates shows that greenhouse gasses, principally CO2, have controlled most ancient climate changes. The evidence for that is spread throughout the geological record. This makes it clear that this time around humans are the cause, mainly by our CO2 emissions.

It's already being done around you. Whether or not you personally participate in countermeasures is irrelevant.

lol
Is that why more oil is being used everyday?

You have zero control over the climate or people who use fossil fuels, I will lend my vote and money to keep it that way.

Even if true this is irrelevant, but it's actually false anyway. Extreme heating isn't simply the amount of heat, but the rate of heating.

We have quite precise measurements of the last time temperature changed as much as it has, around ten thousand years ago. The amount of time it took to increase the temperature from the same low to the same high as we've done in the past decades took a few thousand years.

And we haven't even started slowing down yet.

You may notice that several posts have been sent to AAH. Please remember that this thread is for discussion of the science of global warming. Speculation about the politics or personalities of other posters is off-topic. Returning to such conversation will garner further moderator action. Thank you.

So who is asking you to do any such thing? British Columbia and Sweden have both shown that there are ways to use market forces and regulation to changed their fuel use. No one has suggested that we stop using energy, just that we do so more efficiently and in a cleaner manner. One of the complaints that some folk have is the 3rd world energy use per capita is increasing significantly. Quite rightly, if they are able to raise conditions towards western levels it should help reduce the birth rates in those countries as their medical facilities improve. One of the first uses of solar PV in the 3rd world has been to power fridges in remote clinics to preserve vaccines and other temperature sensitive medicines.

I've got solar panels on my roof. My power bill has halved. If I had got twice as many I would pretty well have a carbon neutral house in terms of electrical power.

Many of your educators are propaganda masters and you have yet to realize it.
Many? I challenge you to name one A-list university that does not teach AGW.

Here is your incredibly goofy statement, edited to reflect reality:

?
There is no evidence for present day rates of warming having occurred in 65 million years.

You dont have anything scientific to prove your point?

Sure there is evidence ... it's just nature/history repeating itself

Heinrich and Dansgaard-Oeschger events
NOAA said:
Each of the 25 observed D-O events consist of an abrupt warming to near-interglacial conditions that occurred in a matter of decades, and was followed by a gradual cooling (Figure 4).

What caused Heinrich and Dansgaard-Oeschger events?
The cause of these glacial events is still under debate.

Which unfortunately reveals a deep ignorance about climate science, Haig.
The current rapid warming of the Earth fits AGW. Ignoring the basic physics that our increasing the CO2 level has increased tempterure is just wrong.
Heinrich and Dansgaard-Oeschger events are just confirmation that rapid hemispherical warming can happen. These events had different effects in the Southern and Northern hemispheres.
Dansgaard–Oeschger event
The processes behind the timing and amplitude of these events (as recorded in ice cores) are still unclear. The pattern in the Southern Hemisphere is different, with slow warming and much smaller temperature fluctuations.

PROSSER, Wash. – Despite the broad spectrum of weather observed last year, Washington’s overall 2014 climate can be summarized in one word: warm. [1]

Good news for Washington though. The warmth gave record yields.
“Aside from heat and water stress concerns, Washington agriculture generally fared well during 2014,” said AgWeatherNet Director Gerrit Hoogenboom. “Many crops reported large yields and good quality.”

Northern Australia is currently being battered by two simultaneous category four and five cyclones. Not sure how common an occurrence that is...
