Continuation Part 13: Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito

We must do what we can to enable normalising this fine young woman with all endeavours.
Congratulations Amanda.

Nice that she's able to enjoy that unmolested by her Italian persecutors. Makes the image of deranged Italian judges attempting to rip her away from her family, in pursuit of their wrongful conviction/wrongful imprisonment wet dream, all the more disgusting.

It's Raffaele I'm really sorry for. At the time of his life he should be establishing himself in a career, and maybe starting a family, his chance of normality has been destroyed. And he didn't even wiggle his hips.

I would be glad to have this chapter closed and we can go after other cases of wrongful conviction.

You still can, anyway. But I know what you mean, it's difficult to get your head round the detail of more than two or three cases at once, and to be really involved in more than one.

If you want to make a difference IRL, I think you almost have to be in the right country, and/or the right nationality - unless you're a real accredited expert in some relevant discipline I suppose. I can take a couple of hours off work and go to see the Scottish police, and we're all talking with the same local accent. I can show up at radio and TV studios just half an hour away. I can attend parliamentary committee meetings. I can write letters to the newspapers with a local address.

I can't imagine how it would be possible to make a difference in that sort of way to a conviction that happened in the USA, or Italy, or New Zealand, or South Africa. I'm in the peanut gallery for these.

Not yet. There must be a twist in the narrative.
Can anyone, even the guilters, really picture this perfectly normal human being dragged to jail.
I am sure it will not happen.

I agree with carbon jam 72, not from wishful thinking, but from certainty that you can not fool all of the people all of the time, thus reasonable doubt.

A poll could be started now by a clever person.

Mignini fan girl and Guede shill Andrea Vogt deleted this tweet. Poor Rudy?

But Amanda Knox (and Raffaele Sollecito) did go to jail. In fact, they were remanded in custody from the moment of their arrests and remain locked up for four years. I don't get it. Maybe that's why she deleted it.

If you are in the navy, the night before a deployment is usually a pretty busy day and almost certainly it is that which is going to be your driving motivation. You are making sure that you have everything you need beforehand. Even though the ship's store has most of what you need, there are things far more convenient to get out in town.

Even if the time frame would make it technically possible, it becomes very implausible.

Curious, it is painful as hell but have you ever read Ballard's letter. I would link to it but afraid that it would run afoul with the moderators.

I haven't. I can Google it.

Yes, the part of her brain that processes reason and logic, caught up with the part of her brain that handles slavish devotion to male authority and vilification of the weaker and most vulnerable to facilitate mob behavior.

This Andrea is a piece of work. But its really helpful to see the mindset of someone who produced her "fair and balanced" documentary, "Is Amanda Knox Guilty". The BBC should be terribly proud.

I'd skip it. Looks like the sick ravings of an unrepentant monster. You don't need to see what they say, just consider the evidence of what they do. Their vocalizations and expressions are symptoms of their illness, not defenses. No point in exposing yourself unnecessarily to it. imo -

Let's not let the facts get in the way.

I concluded long ago that Andrea Vogt is not smart. She is simply a dumbass.

precautionary detention and solitary confinement

anglolawyer,

Thank you for pointing this out. Applying precautionary detention to them was highly questionable. Raffaele was even held in solitary for several months, but I don't recall hearing that Rudy was. Andrea also ignored the obvious disparity in the amount and quality of evidence against Rudy versus against the pair. Andrea is a dim bulb who is getting dimmer.

She also ignored that Guede chose the fast track trial, which is essentially equivalent to pleading guilty.

IMO Barbie Latza Nadeau got roasted in Winterbottom's "The Face of an Angel." There needs to be a sequel dealing with An-DRAY-a Vogt.

Can Barbie Latza Nadeau be any more contemptable?

Today she writes that Knox fled Italy. Knox left the country legally in Oct 2011, which even Judge Nencini cited in Jan 2014 saying that Knox was "legally abroad".

Today she writes that Knox intends to get married, in an announcement which "could not wait until Valentines Day". Michael Winterbottom now looks like the Oracle at Delphi for buying the rights to Nadeau's slutty book, and then turning it on to Nadeau.

Nadeau implies that the marriage is a ruse to avoid extradition, and that her fiance is "taking a chance" by marrying her. Nadeau even plays the pregnancy card and plays it from the bottom of the deck. One wonders if these jackals will make this harassment a generational thing. I would not put it past them.

"Knox knows something she's not telling us." The tired refrain of someone too embarrassed to be an all out guilter/hater - providing plenty of rhetorical escape routes when its pointed out to them this is a meaningless, weasley statement.

What is it about this case that causes Nadeau and Vogt to go bananas? It's always been Nadeau's meal ticket..... Vogt is just a shill.

Or maybe she doesn't recognize the validity of Italy's miscarriage of justice and has decided to live her life. Hope she does have a baby, if that's her wish.

What the looney Italian judges are proposing is the equivalent of forced sterilization.

The Daily Bore

The subtitle of Barbie's article is "A wedding to die for." She opens with "It might seem perilous to marry a woman who has been convicted of murder..." Apparently Barbie decided to challenge Andrea in the "you can't fix stupid" derby.

That's very funny coming from the person that captured photographic evidence of police misconduct on her very first day in Perugia and has yet to mention it to anybody.

Hey Barbie, what else are you hiding?
