Latest Bigfoot "evidence"

There are also hunger motives.
I'll bet mountain lion tastes good to a logger who hasn't eaten anything but dried venison for a month.

Off topic - but cougar meat is very tasty and is enjoyed by my family and many others I know. It is a mild, light colored meat that is comparable to pork.
Historically - it has always been a favorite of trappers and explorers.
Just make sure you cook it well due to trichinosis concerns.

Here's an example of a Scientist in the field.

4 years in the field and one sighting. After the first year or two most would have probably moved on to something else.

Same old bigfooter BS. Did you read the article? This was the first VIDEO. They have plenty of still photos, and plenty of sightings dating back to 2002. I wouldn't be surprised if they also have DNA. The only thing that had one of was a video.

All the comments saying that bigfoot believers are all the same, regardless of the diversity ranging between cloakers and apers, is so true. Always bending the facts to suit (no pun intended) their agenda of altering reality so that the non existent monster can exist in their world. Always, always, always twisting the facts.

I don't know why the early settlers didn't collect Bigfoot fur? They sure as heck collected Indian scalps. I just don't know the answer.

I do, I do! (Hand is in the air waving around frantically) I know the answer, Mr. Bfarkey!

I can't believe you wrote this. Of course this was the first video. If you had read the article you may have found this passage:

"Bahaa-el-din has been studying the species for four years but said it was so secretive and remarkable in its ability to stay hidden that she had only ever sighted one cat."

How on earth does a fur-covered 10+ foot tall 900lb ape-man with a sloping forehead look anything remotely like a human being? This is something that gets me on all the tv-shows, in all the reports etc... How did it look "exactly like a human" but at the same time was giant, had a fur-covered body and the face of a caveman? Pure nonsense. Is this the best excuse you can give for why no'one has ever killed one or eaten one? Amazing.

First, when asked why none has been shot my reply was "I don't know" I've not made any "excuse" I've only speculated. I did respond that one was reported shot by Daniel Boone well over 200 years ago. (A creature perfectly matching the description of Bigfoot) Of course that was quickly dismissed as a "story", "campfire tale" etc. It may be? But the report is there. Some even believe this Daniel Boone account to be the birth of Bigfoot in the US.

In your earlier post, you mentioned how not all of the reports could be lies. Well, what about the "British Bigfoot," if you're deluded enough, you could look at all of the reports of supposed ape-men in the UK and buy into it, can they all be lies, too? Or is a tiny island like the UK home to a race of giants, just like the USA? If the British Bigfoot is, as I suspect, a load of bollocks, then doesn't that kind of dim the already dimming light on the North American Sasquatch?
I think what I did was ask a question. Could all of the reports be lies? I have no idea if UK has a Bigfoot or not. The US state of Hawaii seems to be relatively Bigfoot free, so if they're not into remote islands, who knows? I don't know.

Or are the US footers onto something, and the UK footers are all just drunk on "flat, warm ale."
Some of the US footers may be onto something. I can't say I know or share info with any of the UK guys, so I don't know what they're finding or not.

Chris, do you know why Boone used the name Yahoo?
Actually that's one of the three accredited to the story. The others being Yeohoh and Yayhoo.
Yes, I've read and written about the Swift comparison. I think you're about to suggest Boone was using Gulliver's Travels and this may surprise you but I actually agree with that. Chris B.

Yes, it appears that he told a tall tale straight from Gullivers Travels which he liked and carried around. He didn't shoot a Bigfoot. He just told a cool story that's all.

This post tells me that Chris B. is absolutely trolling us, and does not believe a thing he is saying.

Exactly what about my post "tells" you this? Psychic abilities? Are you ready to try for the "Million Dollar Challenge"? Chris B.

He may have also used Gulliver's Travels as a reference to describe an odd creature he had shot. Chris B.

You previously didn't say that he may have shot one. You said he did shoot one.

I guess we don't even really know if Gullivers Travels is fiction. We weren't there.

Boone's claim was that he had shot and killed a 10 foot hairy creature. I did make reference to that earlier.

I would not argue that Gulliver's Travels is anything more than a work of fiction. But I do think Boone may have used terms from the book to describe something he had never seen before. I don't think there were any encyclopedias floating around the backwoods to reference then, the trusty copy of Gulliver's Travels may have been all that was available. Of course all this is speculation about a story in History. Regardless whether you're of the opinion it's just a tall tale or if you think there may have been something to it. The story exists though even if you're of the opinion Bigfoot doesn't.

You were direct about it being a Bigfoot and not just any 10 foot hairy creature. Maybe he shot the last ground sloth. No, that's not possible. It had to have been a Bigfoot.

The Yahoos are hairy man-like creatures in Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels. As per Boone's reference used I don't see the comparison to a sloth. I do see a compelling comparison with the description of Bigfoot. Chris B.

Did Daniel Boone shoot a bigfoot? He might have. We'll never know because Chris wasn't there to confirm or deny the event.

Those Ape Canyon guys said they shot some bigfoots. That guy who was moose hunting in Saskatchewan in the 1940s said he did too. Justin Smeja said he shot a bigfoot. Rick Dyer said he shot two of them.

What do all of these claims have in common (including Boone's)?

No bigfoot.

Footie is batting 0 for . . . ever.

A Peter Hathaway Capstick bigfoot title would be Death in the . . . Boredom Zone.

Imagine that you've never heard of bigfoot. Now what comparisons do you see?
