Anyway, the lad who "went to Heaven" and who was the subject of the best-selling book and movie...Has recanted. Says he made it all up.....

Actually, yes this is the source of "Heaven is for real".

I recall there was another 'faith' movie out about the same time that may have been the atheist experience. When one is disinterested, it is easy to conflate them.

And that fellow atheist was so clever as to hide its traces, by making sure the kids tell the bible is the only book which count. That was verrry clever.

This now 16 year old boy calimed that while in a coma he went to heaven, met his grandfather, Jesus, sat in Jesus lap and met his still born sister when he was four years old.

He now says he made the whole thing up.

Big surprise. I personally knew it was a fake but since Christians the world over believed him including my dear 92 year old mother are probably really hurt by this.

I recall this story when it first came and out and I was thinking something like 'with a name like Malarkey this must be some sort of dumb prank and/or stunt'.
