Merged Bigfoot follies

The only historical account I can think of would be Daniel Boone, but that's often explained away as a tall tale. Funny how his tall tale of a 10 foot tall bipedal hairy beast preceded modern Bigfoot by a couple hundred years though. Chris B.

So even ole Dan couldn't hit a footie.

You quoted my post which was a response to dlorde as to how it's related to Bigfoot. I think it was right on.

I think you're probably wanting to go down the road of something like comparing sightings of cryptids to sightings of known animals being different though.

If that's the case I'll agree with you. I've seen more Bigfoot creatures than Mountain Lions and Wolves combined here in KY. Chris B.

I've added this to my sig. It's almost as awesome as the one before it.

Logically, we should ask Chris how many mountain lions and wolves he has seen in his area.

I suspect he will not answer, because then we can do the math and learn how many times he has seen bigfoot in his area.

The impression seems to be that both are relatively high numbers.

Thanks for this instant classic, Chris.
You're welcome. Truth never goes out of style.

Actually, he did.

A little truth in your sig line does suit you better IMO.

What's the big deal about that? I'm not alone in my observations. Chances are if you lived here and spent a little time outdoors, you'd stumble across something out of place every now and then as well.
Chris B.

How do you see something as rare and elusive as Bigfoot not just once, but several times, and yet have absolutely bugger-all to show for it? That's like seeing a whole leg of a Hendrix tour and failing to take any pictures, buy a t-shirt or bother to document your experience in any way whatsoever. That's like attending the Rumble in the Jungle AND the Thriller in Manilla and leaving your camera at home.

You're clearly chatting bollocks, mate. Next...

I love the accusatory "if you spent a little time outdoors" meme you always get from hard core bigfooters.

Chris, I'm not surprised you've had such luck seeing this variety of apex predators roaming the wood lots of rural Kentucky though. Seers of fantastic things often have a knack observing the incredibly rare or outright unbelievable. The one guy I know in real life who claims to have seen a bigfoot also claims to have seen ghosts on multiple occasions, and a UFO.

In my limited experience it often seems to be the opposite; not in every case, mind you. Proponents certainly don't understand the natural history of the environment they claim for footie habitat.

The "General Skepticism and The Paranormal" section of ISF will still be filled with active threads on Big Foot. Unfortunately.
<bumps thread to fulfill prophecy>

LOL, that's it folks... Again.

Lots of cryptids at KY, ya don't see it 'cause ya won't go to da woods.

As if there were not enough people already working out there...

My question is, where bigfoots buy KY lub?

A-HA! I KNEW IT!

You are part of the gubnmint-mainstream science-logging and mining lobbies-commie-atheist-anti gun conspiracy to hide bigfoot from the public!

Chris,

This is all a game to you, isn't it? You enjoy making up crap and trolling the skeptics, yanking our chain?

Guess you've seen alien space ships and ghosts and trolls and fairies....

Come on, man. Daniel Boone most certainly did not shoot a bigfoot!!

The "Actually he did" comeback is priceless, though.

The closest Daniel Boone came to bigfoot was reading Gulliver's Travels.
