Black holes are heavier than previously thought

Our calculations show that the supermassive black holes are 40 percent heavier than previously thought. This fundamentally changes determinations of the masses of black holes," explains Darach Watson.

In addition, the new accurate distance measurements could become the most precise way to measure the 'Hubble's constant', that is, the rate at which the universe is expanding and which ultimately determines the age of the universe."

As I stated above long ago, there seems to be a particularly naive reason for Pok's distinguishing them. Some "pushing" forces are indeed seemingly visible, as when a footballer kicks a ball, or a cannon ball is blasted from the muzzle of a gun in a noisy cloud of smoke. So such forces do in fact exist. Even when they manifest themselves in non-visible form, like magnetic repulsion, they can be believed in, because "pushing" is known to happen in the visible cases.

But no form of "pulling" force is visible, and no form of space is visible, let alone curved space. Thus Pok refuses to accept their existence.

Yeah, but the experiment I recommended, trying to push something with an extended rope, makes the difference between pushing and pulling forces visible (by what happens to the rope). Pixie of key's attempt to push a clipboard with just a bit of string pressed between the finger and clipboard indicates a possible understanding of the difference. So I'm still led to the conclusion that the ignorance is deliberate and just pretense.
