The only trouble is that I have heard confessions almost as bad, how about Jessie Misskelley. It looked like the authorities were leading him through the "confession." They still convicted him.
-

I'll have to look that one up, but I don't know how much worse you can get than when not one detail of the crime is included in your confession,

It is the worst confession I have ever read in my life. It sounds like she wasn't even there,

This made me laugh out loud. Thank you for that.

On a more serious note, Frank Esposito's confession of accidently starting a fire the being charged with arson is somewhat analogous to the present case.

Show me exactly where in her (Amanda's) confession, she describes PL raping and murdering Meredith.

You can't, because that confession doesn't have one detail of either happening. It is the worst confession I have ever read in my life. It sounds like she wasn't even there,

d

You obviously know her signed statement contains these details. If you wanted to be a little honest, you could at least say, "I know Amanda said these things in her signed statement, but I believe the police coerced her into saying it."

It sounds like you're pretending that statement didn't happen and prefer the 5am voluntary confession where she "stands by" the same signed statement (of rape and murder) made only a few hours earlier, but also "doubts the veracity" of it.

The doublespeak is ludicrous, but her champions have interpreted it as confusion.

Where are the Transcripts to Rudy Guede's 1st Interrogation?

I need some help folks!

Why can I not read of the 7 hour interrogation of Rudy Guede from early Dec. 2007?

This was undertaken after Rudy Guede was returned to Italy, from Germany, a major suspect in the murder and rape of Miss Meredith Kercher. Because of his suspect status, PM Mignini would not have acted as a notary, and so this Interrogation should have been recorded, as both his attorneys were present, right?

Unless I am mistaken,
Rudy Guede was convicted in The Micheli Court of participating,
along with Amanda and Raff, of killing Meredith Kercher.

So why is the 1st Interrogation of Rudy Guede,
the 1 where he was 1st interviewed by PM Mignini and Judge Claudia Matteini, not available in the Public Record?

Only the 2nd + 3rd Interrogation is available.
What gives???

The Micheli Court seems to have been convinced of Amanda + Raffaele's participation.
The Trials of Amanda + Raff 1st started in The Micheli Court during Rudy Guede's Fast Track Trial.

Read some of The Old Perugia Shock stories and TJ4MK.
Micheli Convicts:
http://web.archive.org/web/20101015182552/http://perugia-shock.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Understanding The Micheli Report:
http://www.truejustice.org/ee/index.php?/tjmk/C343/

Here's The Micheli Report in Italian:
http://www.penale.it/page.asp?mode=1&IDPag=750

If Amanda and Raff had their Defense Attorneys at Rudy Guede's Fast Tract Trial,
which from it appears to be so from reading The Micheli Report on TJ4MK that I linked above,
surely their defense should have copies of ALL of Rudy Guede's Interrogations, right?

So where are Rudy Guede's 1st Interrogation transcripts available for reading and public discussion,
which Perugia Shock mentions here on Dec. 7, 2007???:

http://web.archive.org/web/20080117...t.com/2007/12/theres-non-name-to-be-done.html

Check this out:
Have a read at what ISF Member Numbers posted about this topic on IIP:
On Amanda's website, there are two Guede interrogation transcripts in Italian; the earlier one is from March 2008. Could the defense not have received the December, 2007 Guede interrogation transcript? It makes sense that there should be an early transcript of Guede from soon after his arrival back in Perugia from Germany.

If the that early transcript was withheld from the defense, IMO that would be one more enormous violation of the rights of the defendants. The violation could be relevant to Amanda's current application to the ECtHR about the calunnia conviction, especially if the Perugia Shock is correct that Guede didn't name a "murderer" in the transcript - that is, the prosecution had testimonial evidence at that point that Amanda and Raffaele were not at the murder scene. Withholding the transcript would be likewise a violation to be considered in any following applications to the ECtHR, which would be likely if the CSC finalizes the Nencini verdict.

Hmmmm...

Esposito's confession came after an 18 hour interrogation, not 90 minutes. And it was eventually shown he had a verifiable alibi. So I'm guessing it's not even remotely analogous.

There is not a single element of the "confession" that was either true, or made it to trial. Knox was confused because the cops were also confused and had no idea how the crime had happened.... as proven when, two weeks later, Rudy came onto the scene.

I think we covered this. In Amanda's first statement, which she signed, she said Lumumba had sex with Meredith, followed by screams, and that she 'vaguely' remembered Lumumba murdering her.

The murder part is established. And unless you're arguing that Lumumba was having consensual sex with Kercher before the murder and screams, it was rape.

So what exactly do you object to?

Then they said that Amanda finally broke and told them what they already knew to be true. It's an obvious inference that Amanda got her story from the cops.

Although, I think of it as more of an accusation than a confession, in my opinion,

Where are the details of the rape and murder? Did he force himself on her. Did he hit her? Tear her clothes off, than rape her or rape her with her clothes on using the knife to force himself on her? How was she killed? There are no details. Nada. Nothing.

It's simply a terrible confession, and more like an accusation than a confession, in my opinion,

ETA: so are you saying PL did indeed rape and murder Meredith, and that Rudy and Raffaele weren't there at all? Hmm, interesting.

In her words, she wasn't in the room. But she does acknowledge screams ocurred, then murder. In other words, a rape and murder while she covered her ears.

Your original statement was that the confession didn't specify a rape and murder, and it clearly did.

And like I said, it would be honest if you just said that you think her admission was coerced. It's dishonest to say that she didn't say that.

Sollecito testified before Matteini and Ricciarelli. On those occasions he did not provide an alibi to Amanda Knox. That one is his last position before a judicial organ.
Then, on December 22. 2007 he refused to answer the questions before Mignini.
He never testified in the trial.

Hi Machiavelli,

Just a gentle reminder, we're waiting on a few clarifications from you.

Are you claiming that Stefanoni had a PhD at the time of her work on the Kercher murder case?

Have you found some explanation for how Stefanoni, in a lab which lacked all the proper equipment to safely undertake low copy number DNA analysis, managed to run a lab for years with zero contamination incidents? People who definitely have PhDs and who work with the proper equipment still get contamination sometimes and keep a log of such events, so it's rather curious that Stefanoni claimed to be inerrant and infallible in such matters.

Given that you have accepted that there is evidence on Sollecito's hard drive that he was playing a Naruto video at 21:10, and Meredith Kercher almost certainly died before 21:10, how can you believe that there is proof beyond reasonable doubt that Sollecito was involved? There is no worthwhile evidence to directly contradict his alibi, let alone evidence to discredit his alibi beyond reasonable doubt.

(For those at home, Machiavelli has to run away from this point for exactly the same reason that Mignini had to pull a 23:45 time of death out of his plump bottom in the Massei/Christiani trial: Because unimpeachable witnesses, or witnesses the prosecution case could not do without, ruled out Knox and Sollecito being involved if the death took place any earlier).

Davey,
Let your imagination run wild!

Don't cha know that it was a sex game gone wrong!!!
Amanda, well she was freakin' out as Patrick was rapin' and then stabbin' Meredith.
Raff, her nerdy boyfriend, was home alone watchin' Amelie, or some Japanese cartoon at the time.
Goofy Amanda didn't even come home back to Raff's until 1:00am, wonder what she was doin' all that time...

Oh, wait a sec!
It was not as The Perugian Law Enforcement Community believed.
Patrick was at his bar serving drinks that night!!!

Bummer,
let's change the scene.
Let us change out 1 black guy, a business owner,
for another black guy, a dude who ain't gotta job, and the rent is due today...

(Question:
Why not change the black guy into a black haired Italian guy,
or, heck, even a chestnut haired Italian guy?!?)

While Rudy was gettin' his jollies off
let's have Raff and Amanda hold Meredith at bay and then stab her to death when she resists Rudy raping her.

How nice to let the black guy,
a stranger, go 1st!
Cool cats, A+R!
Pffffft...

So again, show me in her confession where she describes PL raping and murdering Meredith. You can't, because she doesn't give one detail about how exactly PL raped and murdered her. Not one detail whatsoever. It still reads to me like she wasn't even there,

Seriously?

So you acknowledge that AK signed a confession of rape and murder.

But your objection is that she didn't describe it?

Hey Griff,
Do you think that is seminal fluid that Dr. Stefanoni wants tested as seen in The Crime Scene Video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlXKyMh48KQ&app=desktop

If so,
what was Amanda doing as this was, ah, deposited?
Covering her ears in the kitchen?
Please share your thoughts...

It sounds more like an accusation than a confession.

My objection to it being called a confession is that there are no details about how the crime was committed by the confessor, which is what every confession I have ever read contains. Which is why I think it is a terrible confession.

If you want to call it a confession, fine, but that's your problem, not mine,
