Merged The Disturbences in Ferguson Missouri...

I'm of the opinion that there should have been charges for other cops in other cases that were clearly police misconduct. Show you are serious before you release this news.

So, you have no solution.

That's fine, because obviously, they can't do anything "right" here.
You really can't think of anything besides burning and looting stores in Ferguson?

Way back when civil rights protesters fought against lynch mobs, now they are the lynch mob.

For starters pick better poster children than Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, and Vonderrit Myers. Compare/contrast these guys to Emmet Till.

Travon Martin and MiKe Brown were not even close to the same. For me Travon's case was far more a case for prosecution then this. Though could still be hard to prosecute.

Looting, burning, shooting...No, one does not need to have a good solution in order to condemn bad ones.

All this does is damage those poor people whose property and bodies have been damaged, and make it very difficult to argue for solutions that would help. It gives ammo to those who say the police were right in their initial crackdowns. It gives ammo to those who say that there isn't anything those communities want but violence.

Protests? Yes, even though I think the grand jury made the right call. Violence? No. Voting? Yeah, that would be a nice change. Videos, and lawsuits, and community groups. These are avenues to address issues. There is no valid argument that violence is the only recourse left.

In other words, be careful who you hitch your wagon to.

The Warriors learned this lesson the hard way with Karen Stolznow. Similar situation.

What is the relevance?

It is failry obvious. If mainstream America was a little more engaged in the whole issue and remained engaged. Stupid stuff like rioting and burning towns down becomes a far less attractive option

Hard to believe that people here are actually defending the rioting in Ferguson.
No wonder the left in the US is in poltical trouble.

So now trying to understand it equates to defending it?

In this, case, yes.
When did buring and looting become acceptable methods of protest?
And time and time again the people trying to excuse bad behaviore use the excuse they are just trying to "Understand it"

At least one poster here is honest in that he is defending the violence as some kind of revolutionary action.

Peaceful protesting hasn't worked. The media simply ignores it. You can't get ratings from watching people chanting and holding signs.

But buildings on fire? That gets news. International news. How many millions of people now know that Ferguson exists and has problems that wouldn't have known before?

Sometimes you need to crack a few eggs.

Explain that to the eggs.

Millions of people may know that Ferguson exists and that it has problems, but it has an extremely one-sided idea of what those problems are. This isn't helping.

Police found the body of a man inside a parked car in Ferguson early Tuesday, after a night of looting and unrest ravaged parts of that city.

A St. Louis County police spokesman would only say that the death is being classified for now as "suspicious" and wouldn't divulge any more details or circumstances.

The body was discovered inside a sedan near Glen Owen Drive and Windward Court at about 9 a.m. Monday. That's just east of the Canfield Apartments and down the street from Canfield Drive, where Michael Brown was fatally shot Aug. 9 by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson.

It's a shame that they're "cracking a few eggs" over a man of very poor character who in likelihood was shot in self-defense after he robbed a store and assaulted a cop. It reflects poorly on them, and gives ammunition to those who hate certain ethnic groups.
