RW,

Questions on the jeans pix.

1. What's the object lying on or near the knee? Looks a bit like a small brush or cleaning device?
2. Something seems odd about the topmost leg, might be about mid-thigh - looks as if the material of the leg has been cut off. Unless the leg of the jeans is all scrunched up and that's the hem at the bottom of the material. The area I'm asking about is near the upper right corner of the ID marker. Can you clarify? What do you see?

Well, you are not convincing me neither. Despite you are 10, 15 or 20 against one. Maybe there is something inconsistent in your argumentations. Btw, do you concede things like, for example, that a confirmative blood test can only confirm, and not deny or make something become improbable?

I am not in a position to make this concession on behalf of crime labs throughout the world. If you are right in claiming that a sample may still be blood after testing negative for blood, then their protocols are useless and their technologies are defective. You will have to take that up with them.

Do you concede that Guede's second toe misses the alleged "mark" completely?

I will concede that the partial footprint on the bathmat is of such poor quality that it is useless for identifying anyone.

So, there you have it: one of two concessions granted. Never say I'm not a fair man. :)

I'm afraid Mach is off rebooting again since I called him on the trousers being reversed. It's a pity nobody take the time to critique their own scenarios before making themselves look foolish in public.

The way Mach presented his scenario made it seem like Meredith was left in the initial position for hours. But there is so much evidence that this isn't so. There was blood pooling in the initial position but not for hours, only minutes while the perp (Rudy) backs off from the initial shock of what he's done, drops the knife on the bed (note RW how it bounced slightly) and steady's himself by putting his hand out to the wall (Rudy himself admits to writing on the wall). Rudy then fetches the first towel from Meredith's bathroom to wipe the blood off his hands and returns to reposition the body.

Meredith's blue jacket is removed (it's covered in blood and pulled off in a way that reverses the sleeves), her tee shirts are pushed up over her breasts, her bra is grabbed and removed as I have explained earlier leaving Rudy's DNA on the back band and she is laid on her back while she is still alive as evidenced from the blood spray. (This isn't certain, it is possible that the spray was the result of Rudy raping Meredith's corps. But Rudy the lier claims Meredith was alive when he left her.)

Maybe Meredith was still alive when Rudy covered her naked body with the duvet. Meredith's right arm is bent at the elbow and there is no real explanation for this. Rigor mortis would not set in for a couple of hours and Meredith's hand would have fallen to the floor if it were not being held up. I see the possibility that Meredith raised her right hand in front of her face as an automatic reaction to keep from being suffocated when the duvet is tossed over her. The duvet held her arm in that position as she died. Rigor mortis gradually dissipates from approximately 24 hours after death so the arm would have begun to straighten even before the slow Italian police uncovered her body.

Hi Dan O.,
I've looked at the photos,
I do not see where the knife bounced.

I've done enough tests with a small pocket knife on a mattress,
it should have bounced, rolled over, etc.
Do your own tests folks.

The blood on the handle, as seen in the photo I'm posting here,
picture.php

which I found here:
http://murderofmeredithkercher.com/knife-lcn-dna-evidence/
does not look like it ever bounced or rolled over.

The blood I see in the middle of the blade was, I assume, left when the perp picked up the knife and bailed.

I believe the perp placed the knife on the bed.
he did not drop it.

There should have been much blood on the handle,
his fingers, his hand, his arm.

There are not any bloody finger marks, bloody knuckle imprints, bloodyhand imprints near the knife handle imprint. And the knife handle imprint shows an imprint from a knife that did not bounce, it is not smeared.

Was the perp wearing gloves?
If so, did he take them off at some time,
place the knife on the bed with a hand free of blood?

Look at this link which shows the location,
using the green dots,
of some of the unattributed fingerprints found in the girlz flat.
http://murderofmeredithkercher.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Cottage-Fingerprint-Map.jpg
Zoom in, check them out, they are in Meredith's bedroom, on her door,
in Amanda's bedroom, in Laura's bedroom, etc.
Who left these fingerprints? Are they all from the same person?
They are not from Rudy Guede.

Why do these facts,
and others, like from whom is the seminal fluid from,
a person unknown, bother me still about the lone wolf scenario?

The Naruto file actually doesn't exist among the defence arguments. That was in only in a second defence report that was presented only on appeal and was not accepted.

That's ******** Machiavelli. Naruto was presented in Micheli. The postal ****ups did a crap job analyzing the computer data and their work needs to be tossed in the rubbish bin and a competent computer consultant given the task.

But why didn't you know this? It was discussed back in October 2010 while Machiavelli mark1 was active in this thread.

Sorry #'s,
I don't know.
Charlie Wilkes or Dan O. might know though.

confirmatory testing can exclude the presence of blood

Castro and Coyle wrote, "A blood presumptive test should never be taken as a final measure, and should always be followed by confirmatory testing at the forensic science laboratory before making the statement in court that a sample is human blood." The HemaTrace test has a better lower limit of detection than luminol does.

The style of this movie allows it to compress very well. This site says it is 261MB: http://bitsnoop.com/naruto1-seria-1-104-mediaset-in-ita-q2753512.html
Code:
 Naruto s1e100-104
Naruto Ep 102 - In Missione Nel Paese Del Tè - By Gadriel.avi	267 MB
Naruto Ep. 100 - Un maestro per la vita - By Gadriel[ITA].avi	267 MB
 Naruto Ep. 101 - Dietro la maschera - By Gadriel[ITA].avi	261 MB
Naruto Ep. 103 - Attacco in mare aperto - By Gadriel[ITA].avi	268 MB
Naruto Ep. 104 - Il passato di Idate - By Gadriel[ITA].avi	265 MB

I was thinking "Full Length Movie" not "20 minutes long"

RW,

Why do you think the knife left so little blood on the bed sheet? I would have thought it would be very wet with blood after Meredith was stabbed. Could it have been wiped off on some cloth? Or would blood drip off the knife before it was placed on the bed?

No! It can't be true! Infallible Blue Loony-nol is extracted from the asteroid mines of Zeta Reticuli and hand purified by a race of gnomes who live in Orion's belt. It descends to earth in a glowing luminescent spaceship and is distributed to all the police in the world, so they can detect when a wrong-doer has been sliding on a bathmat.

Next I suppose you're gonna dis the Tooth Fairy... is nothing sacred in this so-called skeptic's forum?

From Crini's closing arguments. The cartoon was opened and they dashed off the cottage arriving by 9.30pm

http://murderofmeredithkercher.com/...01/Prosecution-Closing-Arguments-Excerpts.pdf

Should we instead think that it is more reasonable that Curatolo’s recollection is due to the fact that he saw a moment when the discussion was very animated because the fact [the murder] had just happened, and so, maybe exactly because of the causes we think we will be able to demonstrate later, they were waiting for the area being cleared by the cumbersome presence of the cars, the tow truck and the rest, if hence we have to collocate Curatolo’s recollection at a moment following the perpetration of the crime, then certainly this event has to be placed at an earlier time, that is surely compatible with the time when they left [Raffaele’s] home, about 9:26 pm, the moment when the viewing of the movie [Amelie] is over, then there is the crash of Naruto [an event recorded on Raffaele’s computer], but in any case let us keep in mind that as I said before, we are very near, the two houses being about three hundred meters from one another, let us say three hundred and fifty […]. Let us then say three hundred and fifty [meters], so maybe a three or four minutes walk, is the distance between the two houses. So it fits comfortably [our timeline].

How can this scenario work without premeditation?

Well P2P programs have scripts that start downloads automatically. You don't have to invent one.

You are as ignorant as the judges when it comes to this computer stuff. I just tried an experiment. Using shell commands, I created a file, I copied that file to another file and I displayed the content of the second file. Doing all of that from the command line or equivalently a script, the filessytem metadata (created, modified, accessed times) tracked the activity like one would expect. But the Spotlight metadata that includes "Last opened" was not created. Only by opening the file in a way that suggests that the user is intending to interact with that file will the Last Opened metadata be created or updated.

How can this scenario work without premeditation?

Not once does Crini even try and explain how, where or why they teamed up with Guede that night, let alone in the 3-4 minutes it took it them to arrive at the cottage. It's like he doesn't exist.

Staring at this long enough, I am now clear on Q 2. The left leg of the jeans is lying relatively straight out. The right leg goes under the comforter (duvet) and may be scrunched up, and only the bottom part of the right leg - including the hem - is visible. The leg of the jeans is not cut.

Hey RW,
Got your PM. Helped me understand better. Thanks.

Maybe they took a wild shot in the dark that Meredith would be home around 9 and all they had to do was run this scipt as an alibi so we can go over and kill her. Even just typing that makes it sound more ridiculous than it did in my head.

And of course, this is all just my opinion,

d

I think you just cracked the case. Raffaele wrote the script to cover their alibi for 9pm and they headed out as soon as the last unexpected visitor dropped by and left. They went straight to the cottage but Meredith wasn't there so at 9pm they walked back to the basketball court where they hung out in public waiting for Meredith to return. After the disco busses left at midnight and Meredith wasn't there, they returned to Raffaele's place. They just missed seeing Meredith return at 9:05pm. They didn't know that Rudy the burglar was already inside the cottage on the toilet when they rang the doorbell.

From what Dan O. and MichaelB post Naruto and its end time entered into Crini's arguments.

Please remember your responsibility to us as our representative guilter to maintain a high standard of accuracy on such details. :)

...I don't have any opinion about Quintavalle, he seemed normal, and I see no reason to believe he was lying.

What do you call that thing people do when they tell the police they haven't seen someone when just days earlier that same someone with the unforgettable blue eyes was at his shop door before opening looking for cleaning supplies?

You do realize that neither AK nor RS mentioned Naruto in their alibi during the first trial, right? They both mentioned Amelie, but both somehow forgot Naruto. Does that seem like an innocent oversight to you? Just two stoned kids who remrembered one movie, but not another?

That is the deadbolt from the bedroom door. It came flying out when the door was kicked open.

This is clear in photo dsc_0244.jpg, the left hip seam is on top. The left leg is folded/crumpled under and we see a worn hole in the left knee that is patched on the inside. The right knee is seen just above that with stitching indicating there is additional padding or reinforcement.

I don't remember all the cartoons I've seen. Looney Tunes certainly were among them.
