I live on a residential street about the same width. It's even a arteriole with yellow reflectors in the middle. If anyone was walking in the street (and people do) I would NEVER expect a cop driving down the street to say a word, let alone order them to the side of the road.

I don't know the situation there but my wife has been harassed by young "thugs" who were walking in the middle of the street and would not get out of the way and while I was not verbally harassed I did receive a glare once when I slowly went around someone who did not move out of the way. Neither of us honked at them to move.
My guess would be people there have complained to the police about similar behavior.

ETA: Google walking in the middle of the street and you will see this is not an unheard of practice.

Yes, isn't it clear, by even Wilson's "version" of the story (and which version are we on now?) that it was Wilson who went running after Brown, not Brown who came back at Wilson. Brown was killed 35' from the SUV. Wilson, exited his vehicle and made chase, and was (perhaps?) six feet from Brown when he shot him in the head. Great work for a guy with an orbital blowout.

Some of these "skeptics" are having trouble keeping up with the plot.

I am unimpressed with that analysis. Witnesses have Officer Wilson being escorted away from the scene soon after the shooting by two police who show up minutes after the shooting, that may not be Wilson walking around but the two other police. The University of Iowa logo not being copied could mean any number of things (including nothing which should be the default assumption unless there's evidence otherwise) and as Charles Johnson's piece admits that site never said that was actually Officer Wilson's medical results.

Fox News is simply sponging a bit off the Gateway Pundit fakery. Chances are near certain Fox will suffer nothing in the long run for this false news report.

Ginger, the Fox News story quotes their own source. I don't see any mention of Gateway Pundit, and they clearly say the source was talking directly to foxnews.com.

I thought I was missing something. Gateway pundit is not mentioned in the Fox News article.
 
Still skeptical about the orbital injury story. You would think if there was anything to it every news outlet would be proclaiming it, except for a couple of sources who have a definent bias concerning this story.

Can you explain why that might be interesting?

Even if we were all entirely certain that he was going to live a life a crime, how is that in any possible way relevant to the discussion of this shooting?

1) How do you know the witnesses claiming Brown was in the act of surrendering have not provided statements to the police? If they haven't, I would consider that gross incompetence on the part of the investigators. And assuming they have, would that make them that much more credible in your mind?

2) Shouldn't we wait until the witness statements are actually released until we judge their credence? I keep hearing about these witnesses who support Wilson's version of events, and I can't help but notice that I have yet to see what his version of events actually is, let alone the statements from witnesses who supposedly corroborate it.

Your first and second points contradict each other a little bit.

None of the witness statements have been released.
