lol. I couldn't see what thread this fit in, and it's something fresh. So here ya go:

There is an event being promoted by the California State Parks you can read about here:

http://bigfootevidence.blogspot.com/2014/07/zoologist-dr-ron-brown-to-give-lecture.html

It is allegedly one Dr. Ron Brown, PhD in Zoology being a featured speaker in their Summer Speaker Series. His lecture is "Bigfoot, the Legend Analyzed".

Well, he doesn't actually have a PhD or even a Master's or maybe not even an undergraduate. In Zoology. He absolutely does have credentials as a bigfoot proponent. Like this talk above and a LOT of others.

We have Over the Line Smokey covering this and actually calling/emailing the park staff to account for themselves in listing a PhD zoologist speaker who is a fraud.

I don't recall hearing of this guy before now but he's been doing this for years and been referenced along with some of the major players like Dr. Merldumb or Dingerdangle.

Bigfootery is all about telling lies. When he says that he saw a Bigfoot it's hardly any different than when he says he has a Zoology PhD or Medical Doctor or anything.

Expect no shame or embarrassment whatsoever from him or other Bigfooters.

Yes, he may not be a credentialed gold medal winner like Krantz, Meldrum, Fahrenbach, Strain, or Bindernagel, but footers will still place Brown on a pedestal alongside silver medalists like Patterson, Gimlin, Freeman, Chilcutt, Noll, Randles, Moneymaker, Barackman, Nelson, Brown, and Munns.

Still no bigfoot though, no matter how many claims or anecdotes are presented.

What was all that crap I found in the link about bigfoot on a video getting an erection when someone shined a light on him? Talk about comedy gold!

Ketchum. They always forget Ketchum.

That video was a big deal when it hit the footerverse...

It's such bad fiction, how could anyone believe this nonsense?

Misty clouds shroud the northern California coastline as twilight settles on the towering trees of the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. The date is 28 August, 1995. The driver of the long recreational vehicle (RV) pulls onto a small side road so that his passengers - a TV film crew from Waterland Productions can take a closer look at the majestic scenery. Music plays, beers froth and the ever-present video camera is running as the crewmembers relax after a long week's work.

This is hardly the first example of a park deciding to allow bigfoot frauds an official podium. We have a number of examples where state or federal managers have used frauds or even garden-variety BLAARGers to promote themselves.

They get to use a fraudelent "PhD" to promote the Park summer lecture series. Keynote speaker, woo hoo! Signature Park Service offering.

All a person can do is just take care of your own family. Raise your kids to believe in Bronze Age goat-herder Gods. The eight commandments. (We knocked out stealing and adultery, to be consistent with other major modern religions).

Edit: I guess that's why Over the line Smokey got the run-around when he inquired with them. They're quite happy with the arrangement where they get to use a fraudulent PhD to pretend they are putting on something with gravitas.
