As a sidenote I made my first BTC purchace a few weeks ago. Bought a gift card from eGifter with BTC that redeemed me some USD in Rixty which allowed me to buy virtual credits in a mmorpg. Not the most direct way for sure, but all went pretty well and fast. The alternative would have been more time consuming for me - I would've had to make a temporary credit card in my bank for international online transfers. I wish mmorpgs implemented a direct BTC payment method. One would think they have a large portion of the target audience.
