Citing a belief that the U.S. government is filling the sky over their desert community with chemicals, while referring to work of conspiracy theorist Russell Blaylock, western Arizona residents attended a hearing on chemtrails on Wednesday to voice their concerns.

...

The hearing, called by State Sen. Kelli Ward, was billed as an opportunity for her constituents to air their concerns about chemtrails;

The Disquss comments might be a good Stundie source.

To be fair to Kelli Ward, IIRC, the reason she is holding the hearings is to try to convince her constituents that they are just seeing regular ol' contrails and chemtrails are not thing.

If that's true, I would still hold it would never convince them. A) Because they will hold steadfast to their beliefs despite anything that contradicts such belief systems and B) Guv'ment trying to cover up wit dis.

It's not worth the government's own time to pander or correct these conspiracy theorists.

I don't disagree. I think doing something like that is really naive. I'm sure it was worse than the Parks & Rec episode where the city wanted to flouridate the drinking water.
