From the link:

The virulent, neocon-fueled Islamophobia that has plagued post-9/11 America has not only posed a threat to Muslims, it has had deadly consequences for people of other faiths, including Sikhs.

Well that's certainly a well balanced statement.:covereyes

Doesn´t have to be balanced - just accurate.

Is it inaccurate, or do you just not like it?

The French decision to ban certain items of clothing was clearly driven by religion, but I'd feel fairly uncomfortable describing them as religious garb, as they're clearly not explicitly defined as such by the Quran.
Cultural garb might be a better description.

The ban was obviously based on cultural criteria. But there were quite a few prominent Muslims in France (and at least one outside) who either supported it or at least supported the principle, if not the law.

It accurately reflects the attitude that anyone who does not agree that Islam is a religion of peace is an virulent, neocon-fueled Islamophobe.

No, it doesn't. The quote refers specifically referes to a massacre at a Sikh temple by some one whoe thought they were killing Muslims.

Um, who here has called Islam a religion of peace? Who has even brought it up nonironically? Jainism is the religion of peace.

It's a favorite strawman. AFAIK, the only non-Muslim to call Islam a "Religion of peace" was George W Bush.

Islam is not a religion of peace, it's not a religion of war. It's a religion of what Muslims make it to be.

These Muslims, do they derive their beliefs at random or is there some sort of dogma they must adhere to?

Clearly, they get a manual on "what Muslims REALLY believe" as written by Humes Fork and endorsed by Richard Dawkins (pbuh).

I didn't get that from the article. As much as "Islamophobia" is a real thing, I think it is clear, to rational minds, who the Islamophobes actually are. They are the ones who try to shut-down mosque constructions, who hassle Muslims in the street, who give Muslims crap when they peacefully show-up at their party conventions or who endorse or commit acts of violence against Muslims. The problem with the SJW thought-police is that they aren't rational. They regard any criticism, skepticism or cynicism about Islam as "Islamophobia". I don't think the author of that piece was expressing an SJW mindset with that sentence.

Don't forget the 2nd Addition "What Muslims REALLY Believe: Why Bored, White, Pseudo-liberals REALLY Know the Truth about Islam" by Cleon et al published by SJW Donnelley.

Perhaps if you rework it to include a few more "SJW"s, it'll make sense.

Do not forget to read Volume III: "How I Studied The Actual Beliefs Of Actual Muslims In The Real World, And Through That Learned What Mainstream Islam Is Like Outside The Imagination Of Anti-Muslim Hatemongers" by A´isha et al.

And what´s with that SJW thing? If you´re going to call people names, call them names, not acronyms.

And that was reflected in the AKP platform how?

because of the fact that he (erdogan) established AKP .

"Just ignore those millions of people out there shouting protests against Morsi and the Brotherhood and attacking the Brotherhood headquarters and surrounding the presidential palace.

How many millions ?. Obviosuly there are millions egyptians whose rights are going to be trampled under "islamic brother hood's " sharia constitution. Naturally they demonstrated .

We voted once seven months ago, so we don't have to do anything else now."

That was what happened when the minorities and secularists didn't vote in referendum for sharia and thus the sharia bill/draft passed with 95% of those voted approving the constitution.

What happened ?. feeling uncomfortable ?.

That'd be a pretty neat trick since the vote for the 2012 Constitution was actually only 63.83% to 36.17% with a 32.9% turnout.

That is simple counting of numbers. What is with the range you quoted ?.

I did make mistake in percentage votes.

here are the numbers : Votes for (Sharia)constitution 10,693,911 (63.8%)
Votes against 6,061,101 (36.2%).

Now, What percentage of muslims are against sharia constitution .Since, about 20 % of egyptian population consists of christians and others not strictly adhering to with Islam (closet atheists, secular muslims etc) the vote can be taken to say s majority of Muslims favor Sharia.

In fact, the protesters against Morsi in June 2013 outnumbered the total number of people who cast ballots in that 2012 vote, and outnumbered the pro-constitution voters by two to one.

As I said before the journalist don't have anything spectacular as face recognizing software and scanning hardware to determine numbers in a demonstration.

Because they were so incensed at how the Brotherhood forced through the draft constitution despite the walkout by the secularists and al-Azhar that many of them boycotted the vote in protest.

The link you quoted says nothing against sharia. As per the link the opposition was worried about sweeping powers handed over to Morsi.
