I don't know about this, sample size is too small, and too many variables. Personally, Id be far more terrified of a female storm, so not sure I buy the psychology claimed...

The scary thing about Hurricane Arthur is the unpredictability. Arthur, he does as he pleases. But as long as he doesn't get get caught between the Moon and New York City, we should be OK.
 
And I wonder what Arthur's horoscope has to say?

would it help if I changed the title to 'Hurricane Teddy'? :rolleyes:
 
It does say that it's based on perceived femininity or masculinity of the names, not just male vs female. So when female names are used, they should be ones like "Helga" or "Beulah", and for male names "Felix" and "Wesley" should be avoided.
